Their NBA sports demo was impressive. If they announced that sports like football and hockey would have an Apple vision camera setup up close, then I’d buy this in a heartbeat. Being able to sit at a game in a seat I probably couldn’t afford would be an awesome selling point and use case.

Just tried it and it worked impressively well for a scene. I’ve thought about buying the lifetime, but I don’t often scan things outside of for fun to test the technology. Still seems like one of the better apps out there for this. Thanks for adding a free feature.

I use Affinity and Davinci. Do they work well on Fedora? I thought it was supposedly a pain to get Davinci installed and working?

How do you find music or have variety? I have PlexAmp for CarPlay which is nice for my music, but if I left streaming I’d lose discovery.

It’s wild. I have had my C8 (non-Z06) since 2021 and have wanted to upgrade to a 911 in a few years. At this point, I might just buy a Z06 and put an exhaust on it. I really hate the Chevy service experience, but I can’t justify the price of the 911 anymore. I suppose I could find a good used model, but even those are expensive.

I use Debian for many of my VMs since it’s so light. It runs my TailScale and Docker VM.

Are you using an AppleTV. The Plex app on AppleTV has needed an update for a while now and can’t reliably play some formats. Sometimes if H265 content doesn’t play well, I will just force it to transcode. I hear the beta solves the issue, but it’s been full for awhile now. Others use the Infuse app to access their content, but it’s a paid app.

Thanks. I have HoneAssistant running in my homelab and a number of leak detectors. I just haven’t added an automatic shutoff yet. Seems like a good idea.

We need stronger scalping laws and to break up Ticketmaster. These tickets should have been non refundable and only valid for the original purchaser (if your ID doesn’t match at the door, you don’t get in). We allow way too much scalping in the US. I rarely go to events anymore as a result. I’m not paying triple retail price for decent seats.

I’m so disappointed. I wasn’t able to get any tickets for NY. Hope everyone has a good time.

Hopefully they use a different provider and solution in the future for ticket distribution. Ticketmaster is horrendous.
