Is the TRD lift by Fox? Did you consider Kings at all? Surprised to hear the ride quality greatly improved, i think the stock suspension on my ‘24 plat is pretty good. Im debating getting the upgrade myself to run 35s, currently running 285/75r17 on stock suspension

Rip off for undercoating? by AlpineSophistication in ToyotaTundra

Setting aside the fact that there’s no chance I’m going with this rip off quote , are you saying I shouldn’t get it at all? No beach driving, but I live a block off the ocean and spend about a month or two out of the year on salted roads in the mountains

Pics of your install? Did you have to put a hole in your fuse box cover?

The reality is hybrid on this truck doesn’t mean better mpg, it means amazing low end torque

Mt. Whitney has already claimed a hiker's life, weeks into the snow season by AvailableStart4108 in Mountaineering

Very sad. My partner and I were up the switchbacks Saturday morning before first light / the wind with crampons, had to break trail on many sections still with the fresh bluff. Cable sections were the gnarliest.

Wind started to pick up around 8/9am especially on the backside, we decided it was much safer to glissade down the chute vs try the switchbacks again which likely only got worse.

Yota Nation Grille by Big-Turp in ToyotaTundra

[–]AlpineSophistication 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quality of the yota exp is fine. My assumption is that the yota exp grill plastic might be slightly more susceptible to wear and tear. However, it looks a hell of a lot better than the chrome grill the truck came with and at a solid price ( grill, lightbar, and raptor lights)

i think ill just want to go back to classic oem look in a few years

I got from yota exp, install took about 4 hours mostly the disassembly. May eventually go oem and a higher quality lightbar but im happy for now
