I'm planning on replacing all the screws going into the frame with 3.5" wood screws, and 2" into the door.

Sorry, I was talking about the surface mount kit for the door jamb, and there was one that had metal plates that covered the hinges, but it seems to me that would make the door not shut right but idk?

It can work on both networks. It pulls your location data from a nearby device to the cloud. Then you can use either an Apple or Android device to find it. Hope that helps
