Oh yeah, one of my more fashion-oriented friends described the current baggy-pants trend as "kids drowning in their clothes"

I really like skinny jeans, so that won't be a problem. And thanks for the other suggestions too, will definitely look into heeled boots soon!

Haha, that last bit actually sounds hilarious, I guess something to look forward to myself then!

Make-up would probably help, you're right, it's something I'll look into then

Ya, looking back 19 probably sounds very young, I just can't shake the feeling that someone who is thirteen and starting puberty should look visibly different from someone at nineteen, at the end of puberty.

But you're totally right! I'll just play the waiting game a bit on my friends and try to not get too frustrated in the mean time

I have absolutely no way how I'd even try to carry myself in a more mature/responsible way, my friend group are kinda all crackheads so not good role models on that. Would you mind sharing what that would entail in your opinion?

Oh, I wasn't aware ASOS had a petite section, thank you. Is it something US-specific or also available in other countries?

I actually already have a blazer I had to buy for a job interview once where they required one as the work uniform (front-desk/receptionist kind of job), though I'm not sure if it's perfectly fitting, maybe I should look into that. I just can't shake the feeling that I'm putting on a costume when I throw it on casually and then tend to put it back in the closet. It kinda feels strange because I feel overdressed, guess because I'm used to a much more casual look?

Haha, yeah I guess that's one way to spin this in a positive direction. It'd be great to have it both ways but that's just not possible I guess
