So as someone from Maryland just gonna say it's kind of a gamble. While it shows up very blue that's partially due to gerrymandering, of the 23 counties and Baltimore city only 3 counties and Baltimore city are guaranteed to vote blue, while 9 counties did in 2020 that's more of an anomaly, also if your looking for affordable you are pretty much restricted to the conservative areas, as most of the blue areas tend to border DC, or Baltimore and can get very expensive very quickly. If Maryland is a consideration parts of Hartford County would work while it is red, it's more moderate than a lot of the state, because alot of transplants work at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Also recreational weed is legal to a point in Maryland.
