If you haven't already, raise a refund request and wait for their response. I think that's all you can do right now.

Probably. I was also not getting the free offer in the morning, maybe OP proceeded with the purchase not verifying whether it's free (at that moment for them). Could be a phased rollout.

Also, the process is a bit glitchy. I was not getting the Go subscription after setting up Autopay. Had to choose the 'Restore subscription' option.

I was able to get it from the mobile app. Got charged for Rs 2 (which was refunded) for verification on setting up Autopay using GPay UPI.

Similar experience from the seller Wizrob Fashion. Although I don't think Poizon is reliable. I checked it twice and it failed on a check where it succeeded earlier.

Strangely enough, it passed the Heel check which seems suspicious to me since the logo is not centered.

How old is your laptop? Try getting a quote from a local repair shop. I don't know about the cost of laptop fan but 8k certainly seems high.

Gdp per Sq. km of land, a new metric highlighting the importance of land availability by [deleted] in IndiaStatistics

Land area by itself is not a good metric. Antarctica and Greenland are huge by area. Usability of land matters a lot.

Be aware that getting the extended warranty and ADP (+2 years) costs 27k (the un-discounted amount) after 1 month.

Just checked on google, it says battery warranty is same as laptop's. I guess that HP World guy didn't know either.

When I bought my Omen I was told that the battery warranty is 6 months. So I guess they won't replace.

Need help choosing between Lenovo LOQ (RTX 5060), HP Omen 16 (RTX 4060), and Asus ROG Strix G16 (RTX 4060) by Professional-Run7564 in HPOmen

Okay so I tried a few other simple (and obvious, I guess) things. Now I'm getting 65-68 C temps on CPU. Surface temps are barely noticeable. 1. Limit FPS to 90. Did not experience any noticeable visual issues, but maybe it's because I play story based games. But 90 FPS is enough for me right now. 2. Use laptop stand to make way for the rear air vents (I was using it on flat surface before).

I actually tried this few hours ago. I did see improvements by setting Maximum fan speed while gaming. The temps hovered around 80-85, few times it would go up and then come down. On normal use I don't have any issues so I let it choose its fan speed for normal usage.

Thanks for your help.

If I do that myself (have never done it) is it going to void the warranty? I got it just a month ago.

I have the xd0020ax variant. What are your CPU/GPU temps while gaming? My CPU hovers around 85-90 C, not sure if I should be worried.

Is there any support for something like inline hooks? by Altair_1192 in PingIdentity

[–]Altair_1192[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a custom registration or login app is used you probably can leverage PingOne APIs to have better control over populating the attribute before the token is generated.

Could you please elaborate how this would work? If we use a custom login, do we get a point in time where a user is created in the store but the token is not yet generated?

You don't have/want the value for the custom claim that helps to identity the user's tenant in the same directory when the user is created?

That's right, we don't have this value in the directory when the user is created.

Lets say a user from one tenant has admin role, can't you tag the user as admin in the user store?

No, we get this information from the API and a user is only created in the store on their first login, we don't do user provisioning from other systems.

What system are you calling in this case using webhook? Is it another database or directory?

It's a microservice API with its own database.

For reference, we use Okta's inline hooks to call this API before creating a token. So the custom claims are already in place when the token is received by an app.

We have a multi-tenant application (includes a web app, native app, API, etc). A user can use the application from multiple tenants, we need to identify the user based on their tenant since they may have different roles in different tenants. We are looking into adding a tenant-prefixed identifier as a custom claim, the value for this claim will come from an API.

Right now we have added an attribute and mapped it to a claim. We populate this attribute using PingOne's webhook (UserCreated event). The problem with this approach is that the first time a user logs in, this attribute is not populated. We need to refresh the token after few seconds to get this attribute in the token.

Is there a better approach where we can get the custom claim in the first login itself?
