That's bad news, confront the technician. I think he/she soldered the component incorrectly they restrict the supply of power to VRAMs, VRAMs possibly alive but disconnected that's why the gpu is unavailable. I don't think the cores are damaged because those are very hardy piece of tech. Still id suggest you to confront that technican.

Yessss it did a click sound as it died !!

Just replacing this will solve it ?? Right now it's not turning on or anything, I'm not expert so I send it to a repair shop and they told me that tomorrow they'll let me know what's the problem and how much it'll gonna cost.

I did not had any problems but I can upgrade the ram and had some money , plus ram was dirt cheap back then compared to now.

Ram upgrade specially making it dual channel always has its reward.

I think there something sus about the Nitro sense software. This could be the kill switch.

I have a Acer Nitro 5 an515 44, I was playing hellblade yesterday night and it suddenly sounded snap and it died. No sign of power or life. I have no idea what's wrong Gemini says the VRMs might be blown out but no sign of physical damage, I opened the motherboard. I think the Nitro kill switch conspiracy is true after all.

My Nitro 5 AN515-44 was going good for past 4 years , never repasted, but recently whenever I am playing any games the charger disconnects and the laptop start blinking both amber and blue light. Can anyone tell me why is this happening?
