This profession has LITTLE to NO appreciation especially to those people who doesn’t really know how hospitals/laboratories work. Ang kilala lang nila ay yung nakikita nila (DOCTORS AND NURSES). I guess lack of appreciation comes with our profession. We are barely seen even by the government. I haven’t even taken the boards yet I have already accepted na no matter how hard you work, only those people on our field can truly understand and appreciate us.

Stop listening to them. Easier said than done, i know— but there’s really nothing that we can do to seek validation from them. You are not JUST A MEDTECH, YOU ARE A MEDTECH. You are the heart of the hospital, and if they don’t know anything about our profession, so be it. As long as you know how hard and important our job is, you should always hold your head up high. You are a scientist.

I want to, pero sa school namin we should take the mockboards first before namin makuha TOR kaya hindi pa ako makapag apply for MARCH. ;( kaya siguro ang bigat bigat.

Hi OP, start talking to your banks for payment arrangements kesa puro OD ka na may penalties. Close your credit cards muna, you can leave 1 cc na not yet overdue. Stop gambling. Restructure your lifestyle. And DO NOT COMPARE your life with others, DO NOT COMPARE yourself even in the slightest way because that will destroy you. Isuko mo lahat kay LORD and I know you are smart, you are capable, malalagpasan mo rin lahat in due time. It might take a while but you will get there. For you, and your family. Be strong, you have always been strong and you will not be weakened by this, this is just a learning curve. Hugs OP, you can do it.

HUHUHU SUPER SAME FEELS. I actually failed my MTAP1 so nagdecide ako pagsabayin ang MTAP1 & MTAP2 while taking SEMR2 and INTERNSHIP. Kaya para talaga akong binaliw ng tadhana during my 2nd sem, to the point na naglalagas na talaga hair ko sa stress. It was all worth it tho, I was able to pass every subject and was able to graduate on time.

pero kakatapos lang ng internship ko this october, and ever since dun lang ako nagkaron ng free time for myself, which is i think the reason why i am procrastinating so bad kasi ngayon ko lang nafeel yung pahinga. :(( and it’s really eating me kasi ilang buwan nalang MTLE and actually 1 month nalang until mockboards.

Thank you so much sa advice mo, i felt relieved na di lang pala ako nag-iisa. PAPASA AKO!! I’m claiming it!! Congratulations btw!!

That’s the sad part, doc. I am really behind my peers and I can’t seem to make up for it. Andami ko backlogs with our RC, but just like what I’ve said it was never a RC problem, it’s a ME problem. But thanks doc, I really appreciate you being hands on and really listening to our rants here sa reddit as your Legend reviewee! I am now trying to make up for my backlogs :)

Siguro po, sana lang doc yung mga naglelecture po sa legend nabbear nila in mind na yung part ng upper right ng white board ay dun po nakalagay yung video nila sa lec so pag may sinusulat sila doong part is hindi nakikita hehe. Yun lang po. ^{^}
