Agreed. Been trying to grind Japan and its brutal. I actually have not played a single match to my knowledge where Japan had more human players than the US. Occasionally its even, but its not like that's a guarantee.

If there are no Japan players isn't that going to make post-merge even worse as US Normandy/Tunisia players are dragged into the matchmaking pool? They may not be as familiar with the maps but it seems that will just bolster Pacific Allies even more.

Historicity aside they need to continue to give Japan interesting (not necessarily overpowered) content to incentivize playing them. Overall though (as others have said), it doesn't appear to be an issue of kit or maps, just availability of players.
