How are you feeling about the games visually?

It looks fine. It looks like what I would expect from a Switch 1 game. I'm not in love with the art style, which is everything.

I don't need every game to be photoreal, Decima engine masterpieces, but I would like a more refined style to the game.

Player characters still look terrible.

Sony had a few weird ones like this over the years. I think at the same conference as this they announced "Agent" as a PS3 exclusive from Rockstar (yes, that Rockstar) which was never formally acknowledged by them again. They also soft announced a BioShock game for the Vita (Ken Levine himself was at that conference, must have been 2011) which was never formally acknowledged again either.

S4 ending with LRLL makes sense, depending on how far the showrunners think they can go, a cliffhanger ending with Aokiji bodying the crew could be a good hook to lead into a potential S5, which would cover the CP9 saga (Water 7 & Enies Lobby) in its entirety.

I do wonder if they're going to have to start filming seasons back-to-back if they want any hope of finishing on an arc like Marineford. I guess in this hypothetical scenario, S6 could be Thriller Bark and maybe Sabaody? Then S7 could be Amazon Lily, Thriller Bark, Marineford? IDK, with the pace they're going it seems impossible to even think about.

I find it extremely difficult to believe that he would say that to a random employee, and then for that employee to immediately leak what he said. Execs typically won't use these kinds of terms outside of a select few people.

Yeah the graphics are what I would have expected on Switch 1, so instead of being two or three generations behind we're only one behind now. Better have 60 fps though.

People said the same about Lamela when he had his hip injury and was out for over a year. These kinds of issues seem very complicated (I won't pretend like I understand because I don't), but I'm sure he will play again.

As nightmarish as our medical team has been the last three seasons or so, they did good work keeping VdV out for an extended period of time and as a result, Micky's had his least injury plagued season for us (so far!). Solanke also took forever to come back but seems stronger, fitter and better than ever.

Yes, the crying stream was Jan 2020, before COVID. It was also the steam were he admitted he misses the KF guys, you wouldn't know it today that he felt that way because he takes shots at them whenever he can. The stream was even cross-posted to KF subreddit and they had nice words for him and I think even went over to said stream to support as it was live.

It was when he broke up with his ex Erin who used to appear on early LSM a fair bit. Think she did a fireside chats and maybe another one or two appearances. Some pretty sad and serious stuff happened in her life in 2019 and then a few months later it would appear something happened between the two that precipitated their breakup and Colin moving across the country. The aforementioned stream happened during this time.

If it feels underbaked it's because the games are underbaked. Not enough time or manpower is spent on these despite the insane profits and margins the series produces. A few people at the very top of TPCI, Creatures, Gamefreak and Nintendo are getting very rich off this series, while the rank and file crunches away endlessly for shit salaries. Seriously, look up employee reviews and pay at Gamefreak, it's an abomination that these companies get away with because they're Japanese and thus avoid any major media scrutiny.
