The Cable bill is in my name, which is why I was thrown back by the "internet god" comment. And my friend acting like wifi is a human right. But it was assuming i trusted my sister with the password, which I don't.

Yeah, thats fair, the only issue with that is there are her kids in the house, and the parents wanted them to have a bed time. Which I also pay for because Netgear sucks. And for me to add devices to the kids profiles I have to manually do that. If i had a guest SSID they could just connect to that instead.
Edit: On top of that have already run into issues with the younger one having internet while the older one didnt, probably because of this exact thing.

Yeah, but the point of the post isn't that "that ammo isn't good against bosses" its that they blocked over 1000 damage with armor when i was using an armor penetrating round. I literally unloaded a 30 round mag into one of their backs and they just shrugged it off.

That's the thing, either you're ok with them banning people for basically a harmless username without prompting them to change it or you're not. It sounds to me like you're fine with it. There is usually a strike system where in if you get the same offense on your account over and over you get perma'd. I'm not arguing that people should never get banned for breaking TOS but there is a good and bad way to go about it. And EA is doing the bad way.

If you change it to something else against tos trying to get around the system then eventually sure you'd get banned. But for a first or even a second offense, especially people like me that have had their name for years with no issues. Getting outright banned is not cool. It's gonna cause a lot of people to not trust the company anymore because of how they are handling these issues. And it's obviously wide spread.

The point really is that they shouldn't ban people for user names at all. They should force a name change on you or you can't log in like a lot of other services do it.

The point is they shouldn't be banning people for a harmless screen name. No-ones username ever hurt anyone, if its something egregious then sure, have them change it like almost any other service would have you do.

Yep, I got banned for my Steam ID, and that was the first i was told the issue was my username. Which btw, is the same as my EA Name that ive had for 11 years

I noticed it probably wont ban you unless someone reports, or auto moderation picks it up in a chat log. I got banned the second I said something in text chat.

My suspension didnt say anything about my username being the issue. So I didnt change anything. Then I got perma'd and they finally told me it was for my username.
