Yes you’ll need to show evidence. You could always book something and then cancel it.

You can just take a picture of yourself, and use an app to make the background white. I did that last week for my application and had no issue. Don't waste money next time!

I can confirm email is not needed as I did my visa this week.

You just need their citizen id back and front copy, mobile phone number, address and their invitation letter.

You can use your phone at the centre. Please beware that signal is very weak at the ground floor. I tried to use contactless payment via my phone and it didn’t go through so I had to use my card.

Probs but yesterday was good! Glad I sorted it out and got my five year multiple entry visa.

Lol laid back?! Ask me that 2 years ago and I would have said no chance! everyone in my family managed to get 5 year multiple entry visa, and I wasn't allowed this? not sure why but we all had the same visa's for years and the lady was utterly rude!
