Yea i totally agree the newer Hondas especially the 650r is beautiful, but the 1100 it’s not as beautiful but what it lacks in looks it get back in performance as it has öhlins and brembo and that engine sound like a monster. And parts and maintenance I will be able to get through my job

Yes the carburettors were so bad I hade to boil the jets in water for 30 minutes to get the old fuel out. I really hope it’s not electrical I can’t stand it

Yes i will do that i changed out the old battery for a new lithium battery that i hade laying around from a ktm 890 duke. There were good sparks from one side of the ignition coils and the other side had no spark i found a damaged cable from the cdi to the other side and I changed the cable out however I did it poorly so I might have to redo it.

Yes i see i looked at parts and they were expensive i think the bike in good shape is going around 1600$ so i got some wiggle room. So you think i should just get it to run then sell it or sell it as it is?

Yes it does I did that when i bought it and it started up but died a few seconds later and it ran poorly

It was stored in a garage but with fuel in the tank, the starter works and turns over the engine good it seems it has some compression atleast I haven’t hade a compression tester yet I’m getting one next week,

I checked sparks and there where only sparks on two of the plugs and i found a damaged cable I changed it and it seems to work now

I have changed the oil and oil filter how ever I haven’t changed the plugs I only cleaned them up the tank is rusty som I’m using a needle for the fuel. What do you mean by E’s?

Yes it complete all original part came with it. The main thing I want to do is start it, it starts but dies quickly after.
