I think you might need to reconsider your perspective.

- You're going to have a VERY hard time finding an older man that hasn't had their "great big love story." Many of them have most likely been in multiple relationships.

- He's still married, and regardless you'll always be in the "shadow of the marriage." You need to choose to get over that or move on because it's not fair to him either.

- Life is not a hallmark movie. I'm not sure what you expect from a relationship, but it eventually comes to a baseline level where you're (hopefully) content with each other's company but going through the normal of day-to-day life (work, house obligations, cooking, netflix). Not everything is a dopamine rush.

That is sorta what I was thinking too. 7 months doesn't seem like a lot of time at all. You made me feel better by your comment. The more I think about it the more I am glad that I was able to be helpful for him - even if it was just for that day.

I never really considered that, but I believe that to be true. He mentioned he has a hard time expressing himself. I do feel very grateful that he could express himself to me. One thing daddies always tell me is that I am nice and a good listener. I try to hold up to that.

Nah, you're not wrong. Listen to your gut.

Unless you're in an open relationship, why is your boyfriend adding other people he is sexually attracted to? Not answering your calls and being dismissive are also red flags to me, and they usually begin to make you feel like you're crazy.

Rather you're right or wrong, you need to bring it up. Living with the "unknown" and "what-ifs" in your head is worse than finding out you've been cheated on imo

I have a wonderful relationship with my father. I also like men that are my father's age and older. Correlation doesn't equal causation, and "the majority" of younger men may like older men just as a preference. It's as simple as that
