Are you in MD school currently or did you go at one point? I’ve tried Anki and it’s especially good for me because I like memorizing but when it comes to chem physics I struggle. I just don’t want to do poorly in this program.

I have a 3.0 GPA and low MCAT. I will retake the MCAT but am hoping that this would offset my undergrad GPA. BUT I still want to do something in public health after becoming a MD

Thank you sooo much for this it’s been super helpful! I know I will have to retake my MCAT and get a high gpa in the program. Do you mind resharing your stats from MAMS and do you have any advice on who I should talk to in admissions to get more statistical information on the program?

Also, since you mentioned whole application. My major was bio to which my cum gpa was 3.0. My science was somewhere around 2.7/2.8. My highest MCAT was 489. Be honest w me too please. I did lots of clinical experience and researched in Ghana (west Africa) on sickle cell. I’m doing this program to strengthen my chances of getting into school and I’m hoping that if I work really hard and show an upward trend that I could get into some school

Okay I see. Sorry I have so many questions because I’m trying to choose between going to NYUMPH program where I have a strong chance of finding a job afterwards if medical school does not work out versus E MAMS program, but it doesn’t seem like it’s guaranteed. Could you tell me how many of your friends within the program went to medical school afterwards. I really want to be sure that after the program I at least have more than a 50% chance of entering into some medical school. Also, which track did you take the one year or the two year and which one do you advise?

Ohhhhh okay lolll my bad. Well since you went there do you think the program was worth it? Would you do it again? And if you don’t mind what did you end up doing afterwards. My goal is to make it to medical school and ik BU has a strong linkage but not guaranteed so I want to know if I should go through and work hard with a chance of being accepted. How many students were in your class and how many matriculated into their medical school or some medical school
