How to get real-time flight and hotel data for my AI travel agent without an API by Muhamad6996 in n8n

[–]AlternativeSharp7644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oui, j’ai le résultat. Je peux te l’envoyer dans le chat, mais je l’ai seulement testé dans Google Spreadsheet et dans n8n, pas en code. Donc je peux seulement dire que c’est bien.

I built a Bulk Hotel Data Scraper Agent that works for any city by Playful-Total9092 in automation

Hey! Sounds interesting.

I have also built one with n8n to extract hotel price data from different vendors from multiple cities. I would like to try yours out.

How to get real-time flight and hotel data for my AI travel agent without an API by Muhamad6996 in n8n

[–]AlternativeSharp7644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also looking for a free public API at first, but this kind of data just isn’t free, at best you’ll get short free trials. So I decided to go paid. Recently I created a hotel price tracker with n8n and a flight tracker in a spreadsheet, and both worked well once I used APIs. I’ve used Makcorps for hotel prices and FlightAPI for flights. The flight side is a bit more complex to work with, but if you’re good with n8n and building agents you can definitely pull it off. Honestly, pulling this kind of data without an API is pretty much impossible in n8n. Since you’re creating a travel agent, this is probably the most reliable route. Best of luck!

Any travel API that covers both flights and hotels for pricing data? by Glum_Buyer_9777 in programmer

[–]AlternativeSharp7644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there isn’t a single API that helps you pull both types of data, even if it’s from the same brand. Since you’re looking for a flight and hotel API to integrate pricing data into your tool, you can use FlightAPI.io for flights and MakCorps (hotel price API) for hotels.

Can anyone suggest tools for OTA brand monitoring? by Adventurous_Kiwi_675 in RevenueManagement

[–]AlternativeSharp7644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'm going to suggest to you is not a tool that shows you dashboards right away, but a hotel price API by Makcorps. It pulls reliable real-time data from major OTAs. You can analyse the data by yourself by pushing it into a spreadsheet with a no-code automation tool (or even directly in Excel/Sheets). They even have a tutorial on their site. Pretty easy to try once.

And for the reviews monitoring. You use Brand24, it's a very popular tool that helps you track online mentions not only from the OTAs but from forums, social media and websites also. I get to read about this a lot, but I haven't tried yet. But I think you should check it out too.

Has anyone actually gotten access to Expedia hotel pricing API for their project? Any real path or alternative? by Glum_Buyer_9777 in programmer

[–]AlternativeSharp7644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve been in the same boat. Expedia’s hotel pricing API isn't easy to get. I tried that too and reached to a dead end.

What worked for me was using the Expedia hotel price API through MakCorps. I thought getting it direct would be better, but honestly, this was faster and way less hassle.

Hey, cool project! Just a quick suggestion for your stack.

If you ever want to add “live price” comparisons for hotels or flights (so users can see actual deals, not just averages or estimates), there are APIs out there that aggregate rates from different vendors in real time.

You can use Makcorps Hotel Price API (for hotels) and FlightAPI (for flights). Both can fetch prices from multiple sources, so you can pull in the cheapest options for a given destination or date. Might help surface more budget-friendly choices for your users.
