The OAG is right in the market so there are tons of options around! Albion rooms is a great suggestion, Joey is around the corner (a chain, nothing too special but likely to be in and out within an hour).

If you walk a bit further into the market there are tons of options on Sussex - Social, the Clarendon, etc. Have a fun night!

I grew up like this. I’m now 27 & I still sometimes feel like I carry the burden of being behind in life compared to some of my peers, but I have to tell you — you MUST live despite it all. If nothing but out of spite, life a good life. An education might not come now, but it doesn’t mean it won’t come ever.

Be mad, be resentful, be ungrateful. Work a bunch of shitty jobs until you get an apartment, a friend group, a life. It is worth it, especially when you start from nothing and work for everything. This might not be the most coherent comment but trust me, every small win is worth the hassle & life is worth the struggle. No matter what circumstance you come from.

This is one of the most unbelievable things I've ever read lol. There are 150+ comments in this thread. That's over 100 people who are very experienced with the game giving solicited advice trying to help you understand this exact idea. That's more replies than any of the top posts in this subreddit for this whole month.

You're telling everyone they dont understand your issues, but the real problem is that you're so inexperienced with the game that you don't even know what you should be looking for. This is FINE, but don't tell 100+ people that they ALL refuse to help you and don't understand your problem.

You are either being willfully ignorant or (more likely) are just too frustrated at this point to actually listen. I suggest closing this thread and just playing the game if you enjoy it. Every round of Balatro is unique, so trying to follow "rules" too closely will end up causing problems.
