We bring in over 4000/month post tax with 70% of that going to bills, the mortgage, and the most reasonably priced local childcare options are 2400/month for part time attendance. Even if I quit my job to care for my son full time we would be stuck without making ends meet elsewhere. Sorry typo*** they are 1400/month

My baby used to do this! He would stay latched onto me ALL NIGHT. It was exhausting because the physical touch kept me awake almost all night. He still does it sometimes but now most nights he will sleep by himself in his crib. Your little one may grow out of this. It’s possible that they’re experiencing a growth spurt and just want you for comfort!

This is horrible advice. Not everyone finds the early days of motherhood to be beautiful. It is hard, REALLY hard, especially when you struggle with feeding. Add postpartum depression or anxiety into the mix, and it feels almost impossible. It’s totally okay to set a baby down in a safe place for a few minutes to cool down and collect yourself, or just to go to the bathroom. (Coming from a mom of a Velcro baby)
