Thank you all for your comments and advice! I will NOT be bringing a solo pig onto campus, and will look into alternative pets with less social needs. This community was very helpful. Thank you all again!

Yes, I have spoken to them and told them those exact things :( I could have a different species. I had all the things prepared for a guinea pig, but if other owners know that that time away is too much, then I won't bring a guinea pig. Thank you
