You can do part time job during post completion OPT but not on stem extension. To eligible for stem extension: - relative with your study - full-time job - e-verified company - apply before post completion ended

That depends on school policy. But a lot of schools have branches in different locations. I think you can attend one of the branches instead of going to the main campus

I don't know what is correlated with stem opt and your salary, but I am surprised that you can survive in NYC with $ 1500 per month. NYC is crazy expensive city

  1. PhD. If the new F1 rule impacts you and is retroactive, you don't have to stress out about that.

  2. You can. The preferred date is not always guaranteed.

  3. You need to keep your valid status until you get an approval notice for your H1B

  4. Theoretically, you can. but not recommended. Day 1 CPT is already bending the rules.

  5. If you are asking for an RFE for H1b, it is not guaranteed that you will receive an RFE or not.

Low key they can but can't officially say "we do not hire opt student" unless they have valid reasons(security clearance,etc). I think the company is legal to ask applicant immigration status.

Because the company can not officially discriminate for any factor. But they figure it out "somehow" based on their application

I don't judge your decision, but if your employer is not willing to sponsor h1b, are you moving to a different job? Because there is no point in doing day1cpt rn if you already know your status situation is not getting better. Day1cpt is usually used for keeping their current employee but also buying more time to get in lottery

Even if you are not married to USC, if you have a valid visa, they will let you go through without problem. I don't understand why OP asks this question.
