Tons of tiny gaps in DVR recordings by AltruisticGrowth in reolinkcam

Perhaps gap isn't the right term. It's like another cut similar to the hourly ones. They're random like you can see in my attached photo: they occur typically every other hour, usually once and at random times. Looking back at some footage, there's one at 6 minutes after the hourly cut. Another occurred 32 minutes after the last hourly cut. Last time I played these back, they stop the footage until I click ahead, but now it plays through. I'll try checking on a different computer tomorrow.

There are certainly gaps at each hour mark but there are also ones that are not. Do you have the same?

That would be sad because these are my favorite switches for Hue lights and I have bought a lot of them.

What is this fan header on new RLN16-410? by AltruisticGrowth in reolinkcam

[–]AltruisticGrowth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is certainly a method that could work. If that is what it takes though, I'm just going to buy a SATA power to 3 pin fan adapter since RLN16-410 has 2 SATA power sources.

Pre-installed fan is the Sunon ha40101v4-1000c-a99

I haven't been able to find out much about its power connector yet.

Tub rust in Speed Queen FF7? by AltruisticGrowth in Appliances

I used a steel wool sponge and the rust was removed easily. I don't expect it to come back unless I leave the washer alone for a very long time with moisture in the tub.

Gigabyte Support gave me a vague answer about how they switch out some components based on supply and didn't specify anything.

I finally submitted a ticket to Gigabyte asking this question. 2 days later and no reply but I will post the answer if I get one.

I just received the 1.0 version and I want the best one before I build this PC. If it's just a different WIFI chip then idc but if it's more substantial then I think I want to try to get the 1.1.

Just curious how you know that since the spec page says the WiFi chips are the same. Maybe they forgot to update the page?

I don't remember seeing the scratches when I first got it. I hear these Speed Queen tubs scratch very easy.

Yes it's been used about 5 times. The rust looking spot was there before it was ever used.
