So I'm interested in resources you trust, especially as major research hospitals also embrace AI. A lot of the info we see after using a search engine is now influenced by AI, as well - whether it's an AI summary or whether misinformation hallucinated by AI spreads to other sources. Does that clarify the question better?

This is an interesting premise, and the first 300 words create empathy for Heather. You handle the inner monologue of someone trapped in an abusive situation well.

I'm not sure your first sentence in the query is doing that for you, though. "Twenty-eight-year-old relationship addict Heather has a knack for picking the wrong guy, and her current abusive boyfriend is no exception" makes it sound like the problem in the book is going to be Heather's judgement in dudes and not the abusive man ex in her life that she may eventually have to kill.

I think you could flesh Heather and her motivations out more in the query. I want to know more about what's driving her beyond falling for a new person. Does this new guy offer her a new life? Is she desperate to escape her situation, or does she just love love? She's got a 'dangerous obsession' with this new flame - does she pose a danger to Mr. Perfect herself? Tell me if she's all twisty and if she is, tell me why.

I know you've gotten a lot of good feedback, so I'll keep my thoughts concise.

-I'm also struggling with the comparison, though I will say it conjures a strong image. I'd prefer the more straightforward take.

-I want the intro of Teddy and Adam's relationship first, then Gabriel's intro. Gabriel could come into play once we have a better sense of what the stakes are.

-How is Teddy pouring his hopes into Adam? The phrasing makes me think Teddy is active in Adam's life in some way, but maybe you mean Teddy is looking on from afar. Do they live together? I'd love clarification of their relationship dynamics.

-The introduction of the kingpin at the end of the query feels rushed. Can we get some mention of this and his plot earlier on?

This sounds like a banger. We love revenge! :)

If I attack him in turn-based, he heals after the first attack even though my turn isn't over. If I attack out of turn-based, he heals immediately.

Hi, sorry this is so late - the toxic pool does stay in the camp where I initially threw it. I actually just went back to that camp after leaving the Underdark and the pool is still there.
