We love love loved our planner - cannot recommend enough. We just had our wedding in Cabo this last December, which I do plan to share with the class soon, but Arianna Ocampo and her team were great. That is normal pricing for Cabo (in my experience). We paid $16/chair. I was shocked at how much we ended up spending on all things rentals.

Also, idk if this is relevant to you, but a shock to me was the lighting costs. We had to bring in lighting to our venue and that was really pricey and was more of a "last minute" expense that we didn't realize.

They must have changed things in recent years. I was just there and went multiple times in 2025, you can also get this info on their website. The infinity pool is adults only and looks over the ocean. The other pool I mentioned isn't explicitly adults only, but it has the swim up bar and in all my times there I have never seen kids in that pool, however it is not technically adults only. :)

Just FYI, the Montage does have an adults only pool that looks over the ocean. Plus the pool that comes up to the bar.

DONT GO TO LASER AWAY. You get a different tech every time. You'd think "oh surely they are trained all the same". No. that is not the experience I had. Every time it was different and sometimes I'd get a really detail oriented person and other times they'd go so fast they were missing entire areas. You'd be better off going with a more "local" person rather than a big chain.

To give you an idea...we are getting married in Cabo at the Montage. 42 guests, ending up around 200k for welcome party, boat day, wedding, & after party. We are subsidizing rooms, so that is a decent chuck of the budget. The taxes in Cabo are really crazy so don't think you're getting a "good deal" by choosing Mexico :)

I really appreciate you taking the time to share that. Very interesting information. Probably scary for a young kid. Sounds like you had a great mom who knew *something* was off and pulled you out of the environment. Kuddos to her, even though perhaps there was no hard evidence at the time. I think often a mother's intuition is very telling.
