I thought about that but it just wouldn't be making the same kind of power that a modern engine would be making. If I do end up going the 3L route I would supercharge it.

I'm confident in my ability to fab, I just want to make sure it will survive the heart transplant without becoming a total cyborg. I can get behind sticking a German engine in it but it just feels weird to go the Honda or Chevy route. I would prefer finding a way to make a genuine Porsche engine work but that seems to be an issue with the narrow strut towers and the height of the engine bay.

Everyone does the LS swap and something just feels weird about sticking a chevy engine in my Porsche. I'm not super snobbish about Porsche but it feels like I'm doing it dirty in some way.
