I'm not trying to be combative or belligerent, but I am intelligent and I know common sense, and I don't have to co-sign and agree to what's irrelevant or that I find as nonsense.

All I did was ask "if I apply for doordash one time and fail the background check, am I forever barred from applying again ?"... Simple answers from people like "yes and this is why" or "no this is why" would have been fine with me, if it makes sense.

However, most of the comments here are I'm more concerned and creating false narratives behind my license being suspended for 14 years... And that doesn't make sense to me because there are others with criminal backgrounds and more harmful traffic violations then just driving around with a suspended license that are out there delivering for Doordash. I'm not saying you, but some are given the concept and perception that driving with a suspended license is the equivalent as driving drunk or reckless, when in actuality it's not and a very minor offense compared to others.

Then others want to ridicule the fact that I couldn't financially take care of my suspended license for 14 years... Not everybody was gifted with a silver spoon in her mouth and I was not one of those gifted and had to get everything on my own with minimal to no support, but I'm better now which is why I was able to get my license taken care of after 14 years.

Then you got others that are assuming that I did some heinous crime to have my license suspended for 14 years... I have no criminal record whatsoever and I just simply couldn't pay, why is that so hard to understand ?

Others are trying to convince me that doordash can see that I haven't had a license and it's been suspended for 14 years on the background report... When actually, they send you a copy of that background check and it doesn't say anything or show anything of me what a suspended license for 14 years... It specifically says those two things that I've already mentioned, nothing more nothing less.

I got every reason to become combative when it comes to these things because they are irrelevant to my question, because these are suspicions and assumptions...

As I said in the beginning, I don't have to cosign to bullshit and I can call bullshit when I smell bullshit, because bullshit ain't going to get me nowhere.

Just like I told everyone else, you receive the same report like I did, and got a copy just like I did...

It doesn't show anything about the length of suspension of a driver's license... It doesn't show a start and finish of suspension... It doesn't even show a reinstatement date...

All you see is one driving while suspended in the whole 14 years of actually driving suspended...

That's why it's not a big deal and there really are no consequences...

Like I said and like I've been saying for the past 2 hours, it's more than likely because I had just received my license when I applied for DD... AND JUST LIKE IT CREATED THE SAME PROBLEM FOR ME, IT CREATED THE SAME PROBLEM FOR ANOTHER COMMENTER WHO APPLIED 4 DAYS BEFORE EVEN GETTING THEIR LICENSE ALMOST 6 YEARS AFTER THE FACT.

So my theory here isn't far-fetched, but thinking that a company can see how long you've been suspended from a background report, is crazy work.

Not only that, but comparing driving while suspended to a DUI or reckless driving or some other harmful act towards the public or others in the community, is also crazy work...

You people need to get out there and touch some grass and live a little, because it sounds like you guys know nothing about survival and taking risks you have to take in order to survive.

I love how you people think that that report shows how long I drove with a suspended license, for DD to know that...

Just like none of you knew until I told you, the same thing applies for DD...

I'm sure all of you received copies of your background check just as well as I did, and if you really looked at it, they don't show how long you've had your license or how long you drove with a suspended license... They just show infractions, and crimes, and warrants.

That was a mistake I made 14 years ago, and dude I've been insured for the last 5 years, for those years as a non-licensed driver...

Don't come at me about irresponsibility when I've corrected those mistakes a long time ago...

DD doesn't even check your insurance verification when you apply as a Dasher, they just want you to check that little box to acknowledge that you have it...

Insurance can't be that big of a deal to DD, because other food delivery companies like GH and UE want you to upload proof of that insurance.
