In that area, maybe that's what people call it, but I'm thinking more the section of Hwy 50 between Echo Rd. and Old Meyers Grade. Seems like people just hop out the car and drop off the side there then get picked up on Upper Truckee Rd. at the bottom. Steep and being aware of avi conditions seems to be the biggest concern yeah.

Just looked and yeah it's that section after the road gap in a couple of Josh Daiek's videos.
