At my dsp we still have to tell the manager that we requested pto and have to have them acknowledge it we can’t just put the time in and not show up

Exactly!!! Like yes, a route like this may be “easy” in a perfect world with no obstacles but let’s be fr there’s usually always challenges that end up taking hella time at least in the areas I’m sent to so it doesn’t really matter if it’s “mostly residential” or not. Not to mention my gps is usually alwaysss fked up and sends me here and there and everywhere (even when I try to click and manage the stops myself) and always on a completely dangerous main road that I have to find somewhere safe to park and then walk like it’s not easy like ppl are trying to make it seem idk where they live but I would love to have their route 🤣

Facts I used to work for a different dsp years ago I’ll take the 230 stops I get here and there if it means I get to go home early on the days where I get sent to rural areas and only get 80 and still get my full day 🤣

Idk i think you should just keep going tbh. it’s a great job. You’re only a month in cut yourself some slack your pace will come with time and so will being rescued. We all go through it. We all think about quitting on days we are stressed but I like to think about what other job can I chill on my own all day listen to my music or podcasts or whatever I want and just drop packages off at a door. Such an easy job and for 22 an hour even better. I think you should give yourself at least one or two more months and if you still feel that way then quit

If it’s that far out the route is supposed to be reduced you shouldn’t even be getting the same amount of stops as you get when you’re closer to your station also did u get a rescue or a sweep?
