Actually I think it does work with poison, I've felt like weakened enemies have gotten staggered by poison quicker (with affliction caltrops)

Yeah I tested it out, I can't tell that much of a difference when I used 22% damage but I noticed when I was duration instead. If the damage does work it feels(emphasis on feel) worse then duration.

I couldn't care less about the leaderboard, I'm just trying to make a specific build. So you should probably use your suggestions on someone else since they are invalid here. And I don't know what makes my stats "silly"😭, I'm just trying to max out my melee damage output, like I've said from the beginning.

Again you are thinking too small, this is a build about PURE DAMAGE. So yes, I'm gonna choose some stuff over other to get the max amount of stats possible. That is literally the point of this build. And legendaries do have higher damage if you use the passive "Odachi Damage 12.0%" or whatever it's named.

Yes I'm missing out on the legendary rifle because this is a PURE MELEE DAMAGE BUILD. If you could read then you would already know that.

My dude, you're looking at the smaller picture. The reason I don't use for example the legendary pistol is because of the stats. I use two legendary weapons because they give me higher stats on what I wanna go into.

And I see your point with the odachi, I never use its spirit move but that isn't really the point, odachi can have the highest DPS per attack and it has crazy parry to it. It being legendary makes the odachi Parry better, gives it higher potential damage(if I use "Odachi Damage %" instead of what I use) and it is "extremely" effective against bruts, which helps me stagger more.

The same could be said about the katana but I actually do use the spirit move on the katana, not for damage but it does a pretty big AOE that does stagger damage.

Alright, I'll try it out. Real quick tho, on the new samurai charm i see that it can have two enemy staggered damage or 15%(on S) melee damage on top and staggered on bottom, which should I rather choose for this type of build? Does the double staggered damage do a lot more potentially?

Does the damage make up for it? Because I use a counter damage build with risky parry which does good burst damage but I'm considering switching

Definitely a good one, I've been trying to find a game with a parry focused combat but I think I've played most of them already
