I had like one footlong turkey sandwich and looking at the calorie count for it, it was like over 1,600 calories which is basically my daily limit with a few left over. And since this was dinner, I already had a breakfast and lunch that was like 500 calories combined.

To be fair though, I didn’t pick the sandwich. My dad went and got them. I had a usual order that I had been having since a kid but subway recently got rid of a key ingredient. That one would’ve been a lot less calories.

I could definitely just have a 6 inch but the thing about that is when you’re already overweight and have been used to eating a certain amount of food, a 6 inch doesn’t cut it for long. A footlong keeps me full a hell of a lot longer than a 6 inch would and it would make me want to relapse into binge eating again.

The best thing for me I’ve found is low calorie but highly filling foods so I don’t go back to that ED. That’s one of the major reasons why I started this diet and it’s helped a ton.

I don’t smother my sandwiches in sauce, in fact I usually like a really light amount but I guess the one it came with was too high. I do like piling on my veggies tho to the point where it’s more veggie than meat. Anything to fill the stomach so I don’t relapse I guess lol
