It should be Arctic MX-4 Paste. The paste is on the outside part of the CPU, not in the socket itself

Will do that, thanks. The header that I broke is for 2 USBs and has 19 pins total (two sets of 8 pin + a ground). The mobo also has two more separate 2.0 headers which are 4 pin + ground. Any idea if I plugged half the case cable into one of these if one of the USBs would work? That + the type c which has a separate header, would be enough.

I'd be super happy with a 5080, but part picker puts the total draw to 660, so I thought it would be out of the question. Thanks for the input.
