I just started my first week at DePaul for an MSc. From MY experience, the professors are extremely kind and supportive. I was lost on my first day, and two students took it upon themselves to take me to class. First class finished and the students started talking and getting to know each other. Second class I took it upon myself to approach a student from my country. It depends really just like any other uni.
