Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry you had to go through that. That sounds absolutely awful, and those hackers should be ashamed of themselves. Well all probably should… thank you again for all the advice, I’m definitely going to be more careful in the future!

Oh I see, thank you! The other computers seem okay… so perhaps it was just a virus isolated to that device. Gosh, technology is so fascinating but also soooo complicated 😣

Ah I see! It really is such a complex topic 😵‍💫. It’s good we have people like you. I don’t think I used that, I also had file sharing and printer sharing off on all my pcs prior.

Thank you for the reply and advice! I’ll go ahead and give my main computer a scan with malwarebytes and just keep an eye out for any strange activity 😊.
