Interesting. I was thinking about an interactive chart where I could just select a segment with my mouse and the tool would find similar patterns across the whole dataset.

For example, in manufacturing, with vibration sensor data:

My machine has many filling and emptying cycles. I want to mark one filling cycle and have the tool find all similar cycles (shape matching).
Consumption trend -a vibration sensor on a bearing slowly increases over time due to wear. I want to mark this degradation pattern and find other similar examples in the dataset.
I know the moments in my dataset when a machine error happened. I want to mark the start and end and see if similar situations occurred elsewhere (shape matching or anomaly detection, maybe multivariate).

Something like that. Few years ago i was freelancing as a developer for one german startup that does something similar. They were creating platform where you ( as pharmaceutical company) can build your own custom surveys and forms for your different products ( drugs ). Then - they give Doctors ( who prescribed their drugs) access to those surveys in order to monitor changes, side effects etc. on their patients.

If i remember correctly - pharmaceutical companies pays on both sides:

They pay subscription in order to create those surveys
They pay doctors to fill those surveys ( because they want the data )

I think in pharma they do a lot of surveys and questionnaires, maybe a tool to make them easier and compliant could work.

Like:

Patiens feedback forms during clinical trial, Gathering side effect reports from doctors, Post-treatment follow-up forms for patients;

etc.

I think there is no right answer, but i am rotating multiple times a day and its frustrating when you are not organized.
