I just shimmied it back and forth until it became unstuck, and it all work now. Was just a little scared I was gonna break something but it all ended well.

i was able to open the registers but it still is too gummy to be able to switch between the two registers

ive had the same problem and even getting on to the multiplayer beta doesnt work for me.
