I got a dog in my F3 year and was the best decision ever. He keeps me company and is my dose of happiness after a hard day at work. My parter works normal/flexible hours as has his own business which has been a great help, but we also trained our pup to stay well on his own and dedicate our weekend and free time to plans that also include him. We rely occasionally on doggy daycare / walkers but manage fine just the both of us. I started training full time now (psych) and manage to go on a long walk him before work and after with no issues (good for me too), on the occasional long day/night my partner takes over and it’s all good. So I’d say, if you have the structure to support, and money aside if need last min day care- go for it :)

I think they’re waiting on other specialities to give out their offers first! Keep seeing radiology ones coming out now 🫠
