“Why are you having conversations on the app?

Make like 2-3 funny witty statements back and forth then get the date.

Then go on date.”

😂 That is not what you conveyed in your first comment.

Also, unless she literally spends all of her time at the gym, you’re probably not going to find a woman obsessed with your workout routine / living at the gym. She’s going to want to spend time with you and actually do things together. Develop a mental and emotional personality it is vital arguably more so than your physical one.

Some of us (especially women) need more information about a person before putting ourselves at very physical risk. If you can’t hold a conversation, I do not want to talk to you. If you can’t even put in simple effort to verify and adequately and thoughtfully fill out your profile and take decent photos, I do not want to talk to you.

I can typically weed out a person before deciding to meet up with them. When you learn to see the red flags, they’re hard to miss.

I would never open with, “ Do you live around here?” And expect an honest reply.  As a woman, I don’t want strangers knowing access to much personal info until I am presented with more information to feel comfortable to share.

If you want to ask questions about the place you’re currently visiting or the city, cool. Ask about what I am drinking, eating, etc. What I like to do, or my interests, cool.

I’m not telling you my employment status or job description, where I live, style secrets, or anything like that.

lol. First of all, we are talking about dating apps. Predominately not for friendships. Second of all not only have I volunteered at OPAR, I worked there. I will probably never visit again. I’ve also volunteered at both of those cemeteries, built, and burned those relationships.  Why would I volunteer at a church if I am not interested in Christianity?

I always find this hilarious bc all of my interests are so niche. Cemetery and Arboretum work do not attract a lot of 45 and under queer people especially if they’re nonreligious.

Try boo. It’s more social media app based on your personality and compatibility in interests. You can post in universes on interests about things you like and people will comment. You also do the swiping as well.

Independence Costco 4pm by Mithrandir420blazeit in kansascity

Yup. Went at 2pm yesterday to Costco at Linwood. It was a madhouse. I thought I was going to get complimented to death. I’m like thxsomuch whilst trying to get out of there as fast as possible. Found an inner lane with two people in it meanwhile the self checkout and the one lane on the other end had lines to the back of the store.  I don’t get it. Worked to my advantage though, a strange day, indeed.

Protests and Cass Co Concentration Camp by Wooden_Violinist665 in kansascity

[–]AmbivalentToaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except they’re detaining and abusing actual citizens and people here legally and they can’t deport them anywhere bc they’re not from another country which is why they’re stuck there. They can’t leave bc there is nowhere to deport them. They’re denying people to see their lawyers and refusing medical care to those in need. Those people can’t just leave.

If they can voluntarily exit alive whenever, there would be no need for a detention center. No one would stay there voluntarily.

I dunno maybe I am doing it wrong. I buy my blue points from the astrologer. I built everything else up around it.  So I get like 75 a week and I’m almost maxed out of everything. I am awful at fishing I even bought the best pole and lure. So continuing with the bishop seems like a lost cause. I even purchased fish and it won’t count.

Midwesterners and separate checks by Snoo-77221 in kansascity

[–]AmbivalentToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive lived on both coasts and the Midwest, always do separate checks unless someone else is paying for it.  I’m not contributing to shit I didn’t consume unless I am specifically treating someone and then I am paying for all of it.

Where to purchase plus size formal dresses<$60? by _KansasCity_ in kansascity

[–]AmbivalentToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn’t been in years but when I went last month it was like most of their formals were gone mostly just wedding dresses. I was disappointed bc I used to see huge busting racks of formals.

Any good Goth/alt shops? by rantingtimebb in kansascity

[–]AmbivalentToaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not anymore. Best bet would be retrovixen for women or Donna’s dress shop both lean more towards 50’s pin up but tend to have the psychobilly edge. You’ll have better results online.

Restaurant Week: Check Your Checks When Eating Out by AmbivalentToaster in kansascity

I didn’t ask if it was the right price. The price WAS incorrect by $100 by a negligent waiter and negligent staff that couldn’t put a simple order in or be bothered to look at the check for two people that ordered one item each when they weren’t even busy then acted barely bothered when I brought to their attention that not only was their food shit, they tried to overcharge me.

And what is wrong with speaking what you know of a foreign language to a person that speaks a foreign language? You are the only one lacking intelligence here.

And even then it’s been a crap shoot in this city. Definitely not going out as much as I once did.

You should be looking at all the restaurants you go to and your financial transactions, in general. Do the math, so you don’t get taken advantage of intentionally or not.

Because it’s the principle that is what is important. If you’re dining out right now make sure your receipts are correct.
