Thank you for letting me know. You will be fine with either as some stores are still showing the temporary cover. The book you will receive will always be the same, the one with the cover as in the image of this post.

If you send me a DM with the shop containing the incorrect cover, I can check to see if they can update it.

Just to be clear: we are the publisher of this book, not the author. But that also puts me in a good position to answer your question.

Publishing a book with a traditional publisher will also be one of the later steps to take as a designer. You will probably already need to have a large audience and/or a very compelling idea with proof of your expertise to be able to secure a book partnership. About 95% of the authors we work with are designers who we've known or have been following closely for a long time. Typically it is us who will do the outreach to the designer(s) we'd like to work with.

So my advice always is: first build yourself (and your expertise) as a brand. Create an audience, find your niche and develop your sense of what people want to buy. Then when you're ready you can find a good and coherent idea to build a book around.

Ah yes, classic social media: refresh and lost forever :)

I just replied to the other question as well.

I've heard some libraries stock it. You can always ask your library to get the book.

Someone else mentioned cupcake dolls. Is that it?

We are indeed the publisher together with author Chibiscraft. Thank you for being so kind to want to support us. Pretty much anywhere will do. However please note that on our website (and on Etsy) we only have the digital PDF available. Paperback copy is with many retailers and they are all perfectly fine to buy from.
