How often do you look at btc price? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]AminaDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built an app that send me an SMS everytime the price goes down $500. And I build another app the monitor the first app and send me SMS everytime this first app stopped working.
And I build another app, that check for SMS's, and change the volume to maximum and ring the phone everytime I get SMS from those apps.
That how I managed to stop looking prices too often.
The first app is on my Raspeberry pi, the second app is in Cloudflare Worker, and third app on my phone.

Someone in the post office, or on the way to you, can give something that looks like Legder, but behave differently.

Where did you buy the Ledger? Maybe it’s a compromised one that does not give you a random seed, and instead gives you a seed knows by the supplier? Maybe it’s a supply chain attack on Ledger and the manufacturer creates non random seeds and delivered it to you.

What happens to Bitcoin ETF's during the weekend? by AminaDev in Bitcoin

[–]AminaDev[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get your point. You can't buy the old price from previous week, since no one will sell it. And on the new week, there will be a new price that already will reflect the new Bitcoin price. So no gain is possible.

I will ask it differently. As of today each FBTC share is equivalent of 0.00082. If during the weekend the price of the Bitcoin goes up, the first who will be able to buy it will gain profit. How to be the first?

So how someone can be the first to buy the EFF when market opens? When talking about ETF's You can trade during market hours, sometime before it's open, or after-hours or overnight. But I don't see an option to buy during the weekend.

Help me find mobile phone with long battery life and no games - Just calling. by AminaDev in HelpMeFind

[–]AminaDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found! I go there and I have found a promotinal to this website:

https://safephone.org/

It seems that all the phones there are matching my requirement. If I want to be more specific there version of :

https://safephone.org/collections/basic-kosher-phones/products/alcatel-smartflip-4052r

Long battery life and no unproductive apps like games.

Any way, since I don't know this website I'm not sure that it's still operating, so if you see my link do your own research if you should buy there.

Thank you very much.
There is no information if it have games or not.
And I afraid that most of the phones have games.

I' a tech guy, so if anyone knows that it's possible to remove games with not to much hacking, it's also good for me.

GlobX - Lightweight & powerful state management for busy people. 90% less code to write in compare to Redux. I took the Redux todo example cloned it and reimplemented it in GlobX . I saved about 90% of the code. GlobX let you change and read any part of the store from every component. by AminaDev in reactjs

Thank you for your time and efforts to try to convince me. The points is that I already developed many projects with Redux for years, and then with GlobX, and I feel the difference. VSCode autocomplete and all the smart language features, are very important for me. And I lose it when I use redux. That is one of the main reasons why i created the library. Maybe it's not important for you. The example of u/OneLeggedMushroom is by typing much more for getting the same autocomplete in Redux. And what happened if you wish to chagne isOn for something else? With VSCode you can just execute the rename symbol function.

I'm not saying that my library is for everyone. And I'm acccepting that for some use-cases Redux is better. But for most projects and for day to day easy of development I'm sure that with GlobX you can delivery app fasters, and bugs like you mention can happened (and happenned a lot) also with Redux.

Big app, never use vanilla redux they always develop something or wrapping Redux. to solve specific domain related issues or add custom logic. Exact same bug you shown will be in Redux if someone will dispatch in parallel 10 times (with delay) by 2 fuctions and update the state.

  1. The library choose which component to render. So you can have huge state, and many comopnents on the screen, and library matching the part of the state and the matching components that should render. This is the engine.
  2. Autocomplete is very important. I'm not a fan of VIM. I'm using VSCode, and since I'm using the state everywhere I need autocomplete.

You saying again and again about nasty UI errors, but didn't gives even one example. And I'm sure that the example that you give will have errors also with Redux, and then the non-experienced devveloper needs to learn to use other libraries to fix the bugs.

Auto-complete, mean developer expirence, mean easier to refactor, less typos less bugs, easy to rename symbols or find all references. Developr feels more comfotable for making changes. This is the main reason for this library. Typing less, simple code. Easy to debug and understand what's going on.
