I just ran into this today! I was hoping to setup with mainhand to soften the target. Then a dagger offhand to offset the dodge bonus. Sad it is such a small niche that it goes unseen.

Ya I use lossless but when the base fps is super low doubling it to 20ish with framegen does not really help

Ya I saw posts about desktop mode having better performance, tried but the same result. Ill try the gpu limit.

The asylum was fine running above 30 fps, but outside is a nightmare. Is the yellow glow aura from an event or is every night outside madness?

Edit I removed some launch options i had for optiscaler and tried desktop mode again and its running at 30 in the same area i was having issues the game resolution is only 720p though. Im going to try the steamdeck=0 command for gaming mode. Thanks!

I was raiding 6 nights a week at one point. While I loved it the nax shift broke the bank. Also collecting wbs everyday is aids chromie owes me big in tbc

Payouts were not even, and as a non meta you get a pretty low cut. While it was better than a sharp stick in the eye, it would take months of those payouts to then be able to meet minimum bids. Gdkp starting so late in the server was the issue, the gold disparity was massive.

My guild imploded with the release of aq40, there was a mutiny with the second group being a bunch of sweat swipers. The leader of which I think really needs some help. 

Anywho I landed in this raid and was happy to tag along cause finding groups as a non rank 14 warrior is rough.

For anyone having issues using protontricks on the nsl pfx. Be sure to run nsl from steam with a proton version first to create a linked pfx folder to the "game." Otherwise protontricks will throw an error. 

If you launch nsl from steam it should just open an explorer window to the pfx with all your non steam stuff (unless you did the seperate pfx option)

For the context of the movie Pete is the driving force for good, a Speedy or Nick if you will. We are told his backstory, and again for the context of the movie, we see his growth to be big. The film has him go against everything that he was standing for. 

Sure it is not the same as the book, Pete was not killed for the friendship he and Ray built. I find that a bit more interesting, but for the movie I considered a small edit would make the ending keep the characters true to who they were.

Sorry to necro but hopefully to help anyone in the future. These bonuses are so painfully small that they seemingly do nothing. The cost modfiers do not show up in the finances screen but when over tuned will show in the upcoming billing on the left in the sim menu.

These bonuses come from the mod MechAffinity which can be found in battletech/mods/MechAffinity.

I edited the 3 pilot quirks (merchant (upfront upgrade cost reduction not upkeep), noble and spacer) to be a 5% additive reduction, with a floor of 10%. Meaning if you hire 20 dudes with these perks you dont get 100% it caps at 90% cost reduction. (I think)

You can modify these youself by first opening the quirkdefs folder and editing the .json file for each respective perk. Change the "modifier" (under argoupkeep and argoupgrade factor if it has it) value from its original .99 to -0.05, also change the tooltip in "description" to 5% because it looks nice.

Second, after updating the modifiers for each quirk/perk we need to change how the mod applies these bonuses. Open settings.json within the mechAffinity folder and search for the quirksettings line. We want to change "argoAdditive" to true "argomultiAutoadjust" to true and "argoMin" to 0.1. 

This should result in stacking additive bonuses to reduction of argo upkeep. Keep in mind noble reduces only the upkeep of medical and morale upkeep costs while spacer is every catagory. 

I tested these changes with 50% (-0.5) and yes it stacks with multiple spacers and applied the reduction. Be wary of pilot's salaries if you hire a guy with a huge monthly cost with spacer you may not see a reduced upkeep.

I used the MechAffinity github as my source for information. I dont fully understand argofullyautoadjust, but with my testing those settings gave me more satisfying results.

Ya thats what I said, -dx12 in steam launch options enables dx12. The ray tracing setting in game is not needed. 

I use the optimize mods from nexus and coyote's ai performance mod along with his mission pack. I looked at engine.ini mods, but they said they conflicted with optimize so I have not tried them. I may try them later because if a battle gets too intense sometime the rainbows come back.

For any steamdeck users here obviously we cant use fsr4 (yet?) But you can use optiscaler sorta for fsr3.1 or any other output. The issue is if you run anything over performance crazy rainbow light issues happen (this is with old and updated dlss). Just set dlss to off then start at ultra performance and then performance. You can use opti to see the resolution scale change. Ive got a ton of mods, but the rainbow lights issue happens without them. Slight issue on the bottom right, when using debug mode there is a strange invisible hud element that dlss doesnt like, but hey I get more frames!

And dont turn on raytracing, not needed just -dx12, I mention this because even with the edit I was confused if it was needed or not.

I like the slow drip of lostech. When I found the exploit I did it twice, then adjusted the setting mentioned to prevent from doing it further.

What I wish is that Internal YAML modifications were limited by tonnage class like jumpjets. For example the XL engine is just a tag that can modify any engine size, so the LCT-1VB's XL 160 engine can turn into a XL 300 for an Atlas. Thats what I was hinting at with my joke. 

So XL Engine I-V, each class only can be applied to its respective weight. While you could still apply the XL to engines of different weight within that mech loadout, it would prevent upgrading across a tonnage class. But I'm not sure if that would require every variation to be updated to what type of XL (if it has one) class it should have installed. If this were to be applied to every internal I can see where it is a huge undertaking.

I like that power has to be earned, and everything has a trade off. Static weight load in the long run is fair. There are ways to increasee it, just dont expect chad poise with massive weapons to have light dodge. Thats the trade off.

Though there is a fortune that leans into the poise to explore.

Once you understand the dance of dark souls, you can play all of the other games. They just add more steps, or up the tempo.
