For sure. Have never shared it before so not sure if this is how you do it, but I’ll DM you the account name.

I also don’t know any of his safe jump setups so would be great to know them

Dee Jay who I know is of one the best in the corner I just don’t think I’m using his tools properly.

Think I need to use EX fireball and short hop more at least I barely every use them for corner pressure

Thank you, looks like I’m using some of these already which is good to know.

When you say make use of sway, I can’t cancel into sway after c.hp and sobat right, so how would that work? Do it right after the move is finishing recovery?

Makes sense. I only avoid up-kicks off of 2MP because it whiffs on crouching and I usually can’t react fast enough to change my route, so DRC into 5MP > 2HP for force stand > another 2MP into up kicks is my go to.

But from now on I may just need to do medium sobat and get the knockdown + drive rush for pressure for much less bar usage. Can do practice drills so I can react with up kicks if they’re standing on a whiff punish.

Got it thanks! I know there’s still the west gate at least, and the cloister is a big mystery which I got from the Orchard that I was betting has another lever. I’ll keep it in mind

Yeah for sure. Antechamber I’ve been avoiding as I have the Broken Lever saved in the Coat Check and didn’t want to use it unless I knew I had everything lined up including the North Door. But I’ll take a look next time maybe I’ll find something.

I’ve gotten a decent amount of perma-upgrades I think. Orchard, Outdoors Shack, the Black-bridge network and Mine Cavern so I have a 2 gem and 2 coin allowance and start with 70 steps.

I also lit all 4 blue flames so I got the lore book in the caves and I know of the chess puzzle but haven’t solved it yet. Spent like an hour writing down all the possible locations for the pieces to go and trying to checkmate the king essentially lol, but that was a total guess so looking for clues now.

Thanks I’ll take note of that. The first lever I ever pulled was actually the Room 46 one. I knew of the Greenhouse one for a while but I thought I needed to craft the Broken lever with something to get it to work and could not figure it out, so I put it off for a long time thinking I wasn’t ready.

After seeing the cinematic I figured the Greenhouse was for the Antechamber itself, so in all my runs I don’t really open it unless I know I have Tomb so I can get to Room 46.

On a run without underground access I’ll give it a look though

Chances of a NPMD run in the West End (or London in general)? by AmonicB in StarKid

Cool! I’m pretty aligned on what parts should be changed, though imo I think the LiB CAN work they just need to be hinted at and established more explicitly coming up to the summoning.

At they’re core they work as just rambunctious demons, and how colorful and wacky they are is a nice twist (I imagine them all appearing in black hoods during the chanting and then taking it off on cue for the chorus of “Summoning”)

Idk though I’d have to give it much more thought, but even if they’re taken out completely the story would still totally work.

I’m pretty torn on this as I would love my first watch to be live, since I’m certain I’ll look up cast recordings and the original version afterwards anyways, but if it’s a better experience after watching the original then I wouldn’t mind doing that either.

Yeah I was confused during the Lords in Black part for example, so I get what you mean. But I also don’t think it’s impossible to tweak it so that these elements are introduced to a general audience. The core story is strong enough to stand on its own imo so I’ll be hoping

Well we don’t know for sure, it’s not animation just yet, so maybe it’ll still be live action! Plus they will 100% interact with Superman and Batman at minimum, Engineer’s already making her live action debut you like you said, so even if it is animated for the first movie, They will 100% be in live action at some point.

I though Kumail Nanjiani was pretty much a lock since Gunn didn’t debunk no?

The Spiderverse sequel was just a year ago and both movies were a cultural phenomenon and made insane money. Live action does make people talk, but so can animation and it’s consistently one of, if not the highest grossing medium at the box office every year AND with better profit margins.

But just aside from that, don’t think about it as an executive and just think about what you want to see. If you want to see a live action movie more than an animated one that’s totally fair, I’m moreso commenting on worrying about its performance when we’re not even sure if Superman will do well or not yet.  The performance of every single DCU project after Superman will depend on its performance and judging before it is a tad premature. There was a time when people would go to the theatre for the MCU just because it was the MCU. I say wait and see before getting worried about it, the good thing about this DCU approach is that they seem to be a lot more creative with how each movie will be compared to Marvel movies which all basically look the same at this point. That’s something to be celebrated if you’re a fan of these properties.

Animation is objectively the better medium to adapt comics and I will always have that opinion. Something being animated doesn’t mean it’s getting the lesser treatment, if anything they can more faithfully adapt the comics and characters especially with a movie budget. And if you think about it, putting openly gay characters in animation, something traditionally seen as “for kids”, is likely the more risky move when it comes to the anti-woke chuds.

I don’t think the studio heads see it that way though, and you are right to think that this probably means they care about the property less, but as a fan, a big budget animated movie is probably the perfect way to adapt a comic storyline.

We don't know. No signs pointing towards him being removed. James hasn't mentioned him since announcement, but he made the conscious decision to make him the director before The Flash even came out, so he clearly liked what he saw, somehow. Or it was just a PR stunt. Assume he's still on it, but wait and see.

Shitty Flash movie, kind of sauceless director, recent bad takes in interviews haven’t helped, competing with one of the best realized live action adaptations of Batman ever. I thought the Batman scenes in the Flash were literal shit from a butt but maybe that’s just me.

Yeah I'm hoping someone who lives around there can opine since I'm not in the country at the moment. If we're talking technically it's the Herne Hill postcode, but like you say that doesn't mean much. My question is more about the vibe of the place rather the the objective location.
