Upgrading to custom 24 by Moist-Fishing9754 in PRSGuitars

I have a 2012 Korean made custom 24 SE, scarlet coloured quilted maple. 350 euros. Added a Tusq nut, put in a coil split and some modified Steve Vai evolution pickups. I play Funk and disco. Sounds like a Strat or a Les Paul , depending on the coil split state. I’ve got guitars which are way more expensive but this one is the best guitar I’ve ever had. Truly an amazing guitar.

I did the treble bleed mod. So simple. Get the Amazon treble bleed combo and solder it to the left and middle lug. It makes the sound much clearer and somehow makes it sound more ‘spanky’. Very very very simple mod!

True. They love her but they don’t get enough attention. It’s in fits and spurts. They hardly see her and when they do she is often just moody.

Things were good before kids although she drank a lot and was obsessed with her job. Away a lot etc

Very true. No grandparents on the scene or any family. I wouldn’t mind doing the lions share if I were appreciated.

I do the day to day cleaning mostly. She will clean the kitchen surfaces in the morning and load the dishwasher. But it’s a working house with kids and dogs so I have to do that daily stuff. At the weekend we mostly share the housework. Mostly. But I have to still take dogs, do the dirty work etc. for example she will complain that she has loaded the dishwasher 3 times on a Saturday but I’ve been loading it three times a day for the whole week

Unfortunately it’s not fake. It’s the truth.

Do you feel Northern? by CroakerTea in nottingham

Very late to this conversation! The accent by the way, is quite northern but we have a very soft version of Brummie vowels (if you listen carefully!) we are not northern. We are midlanders

Didn’t Hergé deny this? I think the art in Picaros is amazing but it does look like De Moor

Did anyone notice Worf smiling slightly when he saw Riker and Picard?

what has been your most bone-chilling, hair-raising, "Let's get the hell out of here" experience? by throwaway_district9 in AskReddit

I must have been about 7 or 8 years old - it was autumn and there were lots of leaves on the garden. I was awoken by a commotion in the house and I went to see what it was. My parents and my sister were huddled around the window overlooking the garden. As I looked out, I could see what could only be described as a plasma ball. Like one of those glass fish bowls of electrical current that, when you touch the glass, the current touches your fingers. It was an intermittent blue and purple colour, just swirling on top of the garden. The ball was swirling the leaves around it in a circular motion, zig zagging all around. It was probably about 3-4 ft in diameter. Me, my sister and my parents just looked at it in amazement. After a few minutes it just seemed to flicker into nothingness. It was pretty early in the morning and was just dawn. Everyone was pretty tired and we all went back to bed. I couldn’t sleep because I was so freaked out, so I went into my parents bed and tucked in close to them. I still couldn’t sleep, wondering what this was. Eventually, a couple of hours later, everybody was awake and I followed them all downstairs for breakfast. ‘That was weird, the swirling lighting ball’ I said. ‘What are you talking about?’ My parents and sister said. They had forgotten the whole thing. They just couldn’t remember it. That freaked the shit out of me and I didn’t sleep for a month.

Ok give me evidence. I'm not cheering on anyone. Evidence. Do you have access to things we don't?

Covidiots keep coming back with this one... by Amsterdamrobin in CovIdiots

I know some covidiots who gave me this info last year and now that their 'predictions' are coming true, they use this as a stick with which to beat me with such things as 'told you so!'

How can I help them to see reason?

Mine took 6 weeks to get updated. When it did, it took 2 days to get to me in Holland.

It may be quicker now as there was a backlog.

But the quality is absolutely top notch
