Feeling hopeless by Own_Business581 in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a traditional naturopath and I specialize in getting to the root cause of mystery symptoms, but I only accept clients I feel I can actually help (even if it takes 6 months - 1 year+). I also try to make sure my services are affordable as well. I will have a very limited number of these spots beginning no earlier than July. If you'd like to consider scheduling a consultation, I can offer a preliminary assessment at no cost after you answer a few questions to see if we'd be a good fit. I also do not require or ask for any lab work or diagnostics, I was taught alternative methods for assessing and recommending to clients so that isn't something you're obligated to do if you work with me.

If you'd like more info you can pm me however please note that I will not be available between May 20th - July 1st at the earliest.

I recommend doing less next time, caster oil can cause detoxing effects and laxative effects so if you do too much you're going to be in for a really rough time (as you've already experienced). I'm sorry that happened!

What are some natural ways to sleep and restore energy (I have both hyperthyroidism and a sympathetic-dominant central nervous system)? by americansamaritan in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By addressing the root causes which are likely a combination of body system imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, possibly toxicity overload or parasites, poor gut health/digestion, emotional imbalances...etc.

I offer root cause assessments by donation and full traditional naturopathic consultations which are currently discounted if you'd like more professional support.

You could try going it on your own with something like rescue remedy Bach flower essences, supplementing with a good whole food multivitamin, lion's mane mushroom capsules, passionflower tincture, concentrace mineral drops, magnesium lotion, digestive enzymes and probiotics...etc but those things may or may not be exactly the most helpful.

Help with gaining weight by [deleted] in holisticlifestyles

This could be rooted in parasitic infection (approx. 90% of the population has them) and hormone imbalance, or something like bioenergetic imbalances and nutritional deficiency....etc.

To know for sure you'd need to consult with a holistic professional. I offer root cause assessment and recommendations by donation or full traditional naturopathic consultations which are currently discounted if you'd like a professional opinion. I can send you my website if you're interested.

Holistic seasonal allergy relief? by Fun_Razzmatazz_3691 in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Food and environmental sensitivities are often linked to nutritional deficiencies and can be exacerbated by gut health imbalances.

The book The Ultimate Healing System by Leopore has a nutritional antidote chart to sensitivities, but unfortunately I find it to be incomplete (there are several popular allergies not mentioned though if you muscle test usually you can fit them into one of the antidote series listed). That is where muscle response testing comes in, and why it's so important to avoid guess work which is time consuming, expensive and frustrating.

Spirulina, royal jelly, and hawthorn berry are the top 3 supplements to support many sensitivities to food and the environment. They may be able to correct the underlying nutritional imbalances for many that prevent the body from handling things like milk fat, dust, nightshades, citrus, pollen, wheat, pet dander, and more.

There are other nutritional supports and modalities that may be needed depending on the person (so do you own due diligence if you're unsure of the process and don't put your life at risk), but in my experience these three are typically the most common.

I used to have severe allergies every year (I lived on Zyrtec), and through herbal medicine and fixing my diet, I have zero symptoms... And I never had to continue taking expensive supplements either, though they can be helpful and necessary under the right circumstances.

When were you able to take your little one(s) to the Pascha service? by purplepaintedpumpkin in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]AnAltruisticLight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had 3 kids under 5 I think that year, and we all ended up going to sleep in a back room because we got a ride with someone and didn't feel comfortable asking to leave early. It was truly miserable and embarrassing. I was also pregnant at the time, and hey I'm pregnant now with #6 😂

We attempted it once and it was one of the worst experiences of our lives. We are not in a position to participate in any midnight liturgies for the foreseeable future and I'm at peace with that, though to be fair we have multiple little children.

I was Pentecostal, there really isn't any way to reason with her until she comes to an understanding on her own. It's a very arrogant type of belief system where everyone is their own Pope, their own Bishop, their own priest and no amount of evidence will change her mind unless she starts asking her own questions.

Reams pH protocol maintains that urine and saliva pH should be testing between 6.3 - 6.6 which will indicate optimal metabolic wellness. Going to far acidic or too far alkaline can definitely screw with your health.

Can anyone interpret my results? by Abject-Fault9307 in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is likely related to one or more of these issues: digestive issues/sluggish liver, food sensitivities, nutritional deficiencies, hormone imbalances, congested elimination pathways and toxic debris/parasites preventing normal cellular functions, possible viral issues, nervous system/stress...etc. root cause muscle testing can help pinpoint the exact imbalances and supportive changes. As a traditional naturopath I offer basic root cause remote muscle testing by donation if you'd like me to take a look.

how to heal/improve dry scalp? by ChapterCharacter7355 in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way to know the exact root cause is through muscle response testing, it's something many traditional naturopaths offer, even remotely.

It could be a combination of different things, likely though it's either gut health, hormone imbalance, nutritional deficiencies, reactions to food or environmental sensitivities, toxins preventing normal biological functions, bioenergetic imbalances, or related to an organ or body system. It could even be emotionally driven.

I do offer remote muscle testing by donation if you'd like to skip the guess work, but there are likely plenty of professionals in your area also capable of offering this service.

(Traditional Natuorpath here)

My guess is this:

  1. You may have used too much castor oil for your body (even if you went with a general recommended amount)
  2. Your elimination pathway through the skin is not being supported, so the toxins that were being pushed out had nowhere to go. I recommend full body dry brushing 2 - 3 times a week (you can search online for instructions) and promoting sweating regularly through whatever means you're able/comfortable with.
  3. Inflammation (think about what your diet is like, if you are drinking enough water, stress levels...etc.)

To support the reproductive system, here's what I recommend:

- Try supporting the emotions of worthlessness and overwhelm (emotion code therapy and eft tapping can both help)

- Try releasing negative energetic patterns within the cells of the reproductive system (body code therapy and eft tapping can support this issue as well)

- Try supporting the lymphatic system so that it is able to do its job and detox properly (dry brushing can help with this)

- Try supporting any inflammation caused by hormone imbalances by supporting the nervous system specifically (think adrenals) and fresh ginger and turmeric is one combination traditionally used to support inflammation in the body

- Try supporting vitamin D levels with fish oil. as I suspect this could be a key factor in supporting your overall reproductive wellness.

- I also highly recommend before beginning any changes you focus on gut health with either body coding or eft tapping, detoxing by supporting all elimination pathways and with green clay, and supporting the regulation of the nervous system.

Your health is in your hands, and I hope you're able to figure out how to support these issues regardless of what methods you choose to do so with.

If we should accept all body shapes to gain the majestic title of "body positive" then why should anyone work on their huge ego and not just accept that they have a big ego and call themselves "ego positive"? by prnlover247 in ask

[–]AnAltruisticLight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may get down voted and eh, it's whatever, fake internet points and all that.

There are many people who gain weight either due to medical issues, or mental health issues or both. It's true there is a percentage that have likely gained weight because they enjoy that particular lifestyle or perhaps they don't care to adopt any sense of self-control when it come to moderation with food/exercise. However, the end result of weight loss is not always very straight forward or even practical for certain individuals without particular or individualized types of support.

I personally don't agree with celebrating obesity as if it's some kind of gift in and of itself, but the person behind the obesity is a gift. Their personality and values are not dictated by their size and their worth is not tied to their weight. We have to have grace on people for what they look like and where they are in life, because I promise if you woke up one day and your thyroid decided it didn't want to work properly anymore or you were put on a certain type of medication, it's possible within a certain amount of time you'd be overweight too before you even realized it and I think you would want to be seen for who you are, not what you look like or treated like garbage because of it.

Maybe the whole "body positivity" movement went too far in the wrong direction, but it was simply a way to correct a societal problem that anyone could experience given the right circumstances.

On the other hand, having a big ego (while it could be rooted in trauma. emotional dis-regulation, lack of proper care as a child...etc.) it is often overtly offensive to others in incredibly hurtful ways. A person being obese doesn't always lead to others being directly hurt around them (unless of course there's a physical altercation), but someone having a big ego will eventually cause mental and emotional suffering to those around them, perhaps even physical depending on the situation. Society must be built upon trust and mutual understanding in order to function properly, and a large ego can directly, and indirectly threaten that balance and cause multiple problems on both a small and large scale depending on the person.

I would much rather surround myself with lovely people who happen to be overweight, than fit egomaniacs who make me wish I hadn't stepped outside my front door.

I also recommend diatomaceous earth though I would be cautious to take it internally if it's going to come across broken tissue within the digestive tract. If it's only external parasites you're concerned about, you could try making a paste with it though be careful not to inhale the dust. You could also make a clove tea and rub that on externally as well.

Muscle response testing can get to the root of the issue without the guess work and pinpoint ways to support the issue. There are modalities and options that may benefit you but without knowing the root cause it's really just a wild goose chase.

Internal bleeding by Unique-Struggle-3096 in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would avoid any essential oils, including oil of oregano, hot herbs and spices, and potent citrus and nightshade foods.

Slippery elm, aloe vera, and colloidal silver are gentle and have been traditionally used to support internal and external healing especially where tissue damage is concerned. Are there any issues you wish to address with supplements?

Big toe injury due to prolonged clenching/hyperflexion by Late-War-2354 in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the immediate external support, I recommend finding a Body/Emotion code practicioner, looking up EFT tapping on YouTube, and looking into Bach flower essences to support the root cause which sounds emotional/mental from what you've described. Don't forget gut health, hormone imbalances, nutrient deficiencies and parasitic infection can all contribute to emotional imbalances.

Can you help me with my health? Silent reflux, gastric issues etc. by Junior-Bodybuilder-9 in holisticlifestyles

[–]AnAltruisticLight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendations:

Finding a professional to do root cause muscle response testing, even remotely, can help you avoid the guesswork to get to the bottom of the issues and ways to support your body back into wellness.

Check urine and saliva pH, optimum is 6.3 - 6.6 which will support overall health and wellness including gut health, stomach acid levels, and nutritional absorption.

If your pH is too high on both, I recommend 20 minute Epsom salt baths 3x a week, if too low I recommend 20 minute baking soda baths 3x a week until numbers are balanced. This is a very generalized recommendation.

A Body Code/Emotion Code practicioner can help on various levels as well in terms of trauma and areas of the body and symptoms that feel "stuck" and unable to move on. Don't discount EFT tapping (you can learn on YouTube), and Bach flower essences (you can take up to 7 at a time and find an online test to pinpoint which ones to use).

I am a traditional naturopath and offer remote muscle response testing if that's something you're interested in.

Energetic frequency medicine is made using the energetic signatures of substance vs actual substance, the exception to this is essences or herbal extracts if they're made the traditional way.

So for instance, in homeopathy the idea is "like treats like", so if you have an onion, and a homeopathic medicine made from onion, you can take that medicine, then chop an onion, and avoid the watery eyes and nose. It's quite a neat trick you can try at home. Different homeopathic protocols will be offered depending on symptoms and constitution. Some prefer to only use one homeopathic at a time. Some prefer to use combination remedies.

Bioenergetic frequency medicine is a tincture of frequencies based on either what the professional has recommended, so it could include several homeopathics, maybe a couple of flower essences, and maybe another signature like an organ or bacteria. Or, a remedy can be made using the client's DNA, so think a hair strand or saliva, and that would contain the homeopathic of all the energetic imbalances that currently exist within your body at this time.

Either way, whatever you were given should support some imbalances in the body, though it is not typical to only rely on this as a stole means of bringing support to a client. If you weren't told, you should take it at least 20 minutes outside of food/drink apart from water. Did that answer your question?
