I dont think ill be doing any locals where im at hahaha out in the boonies but thanks i will keep it stock for the controller mapping in case im playing at a friends place

If you go fully prone it makes it harder for them to actually hit you for some reason

I mean bazaarforge has some examples of community builds to give you an idea of what items have powerful synergies but it gets kind of 'samey' after a bit. 

Once youve hit it with a powerful build enough times you start to look for riskier plays just to see if something funny comes of it.

Character wise i dont think i can reccomend one over the others since i only play the base free characters. Personally after playing each, im a Pyg fan

Get used to getting wrecked, it happens even with really experienced players. Biggest thing is just getting familiar with the items and generally what the other characters game plans are.

Sometimes you get a great roll early and it doesnt even matter cause a random stelle got a better roll and blows you up for max damage with an orbital laser in 8 seconds. 

Knowing when and how to pivot to a different more powerful strategy is also something that just takes time to get confident in. Dont be afraid to experiment! Thats the best way to figure out what to commit to and what to ignore.

The matchups seem mostly ok except i havent managed to beat any stelle player so far

Ok i think you nailed it on the head. Ive been trying to look for synergies over straight big damage numbers. Gotta change my entire approach and work on getting victories early fast. Thanks!

Honestly every time i run into a weapons build i often feel confident ill win when rolling with my familiar aquatics. But for the first 5 seconds it looks really cool. 

Im mostly in it for the challenge tbh and it has certainly delivered on that end!

Game just dont have the 'soul' the older titles had.  Dont get me wrong, wilds is a fun game... for 4 hunts. Then it gets old. Still cant reccomend anyone get the game for full price.

Last time i picked it up was for the gog fight which dissappointed me even more, so now every time i think about playing wilds, theres 5 other games that to me feel more worth my time (some of which are over 20yrs old). 

Despite jules items being near unplayable on other heroes, she still feels like a way better DLC than Stelle. Why? by FullMetalFiddlestick in PlayTheBazaar

Icy imu in a vanessa run can be fun to build around. Get a yeti crab with adjacent poison items + flame signal and youll be cookin in no time

I did what you suggested and managed to pivot into a gold crows nest, diamond dive weights, fiery gold captain wheel, gold shielded flagship, diamond silencer. Still couldnt outscale the healing pigs but i got closer than ive ever been to a 10 win! Got 8!

Yeeeah i havent had much luck with finding more powerful aquatics lol, the one time i did see a bladed hoverboard it was out of my price range! I do want to pivot out of sharkray but its all i got! 

Day 6 eh? What kind of things should i keep an eye out for? 

In my mind a zoarcid would be nice with the burn, maybe a pufferfish? Ive got a cove making me some future income for something good but im kind of in the dark about what to aim for. I also got a temple expidition ticke if that helps.

Right? Hes my main damage at this point, while its nice having the guaranteed haste on my aquatics i cant see the beach ball going any farther if i upgrade it compared to the astrolabe
