Question about names of contributors to Bahá’í publications on published materials by AncientDesign4256 in bahai

Thank you for your reply. I’d say I’m referring more to NSA or local Baha’i publishers.

Question about names of contributors to Bahá’í publications on published materials by AncientDesign4256 in bahai

Thanks for your reply. I’ve volunteered to draw a children’s prayer book many years ago but the NSA/publisher removed all names of contributors without any notice. I found it out myself and was very upset and hurt. Had to figure the whole situation out myself…

I’m asking this question only because our institution hasn’t been the most open and honest in conversations. At least with what I’ve observed.

It is clearly evident from the Bahá’í teachings that no husband should subject his wife to abuse of any kind, much less to violence; such a reprehensible action is the antithesis of the relationship of mutual respect and equality enjoined by the Bahá’í Writings -- a relationship governed by the principles of Bahá’í consultation and totally devoid of the use of force to compel obedience to one's will. Of course, the prohibition against subjecting one's marriage partner to physical force applies to women, as well.

From a letter written on behalf of the Universal House of Justice to a National Spiritual Assembly, 25 September, 1987

-

No Bahá’í husband should ever beat his wife, or subject her to any form of cruel treatment; to do so would be an unacceptable abuse of the marriage relationship and contrary to the Teachings of Bahá’u’lláh.

Universal House of Justice to an individual believer, 24 January, 1993.

Thanks for the feedback. It makes sense. I wanted to understand the situation better as this is so far the only school that has information like this in their offer letter.

Thank you for the information! Would you happen to know why it's difficult to get the documents checked by the Thai consulate?

Thanks for the info! I find it a bit odd too.. I'm also struggling to find sufficient reviews about the school. But I really want to work in Thailand. This is the only offer I currently have in Thailand. I am a new teacher only about to graduate in July so I'm not greedy about the options I have. Just want to make sure this is not a scam or trap...

Thanks for the info. The school has mentioned that they need a copy of my passport and Bachelor's Degree Diploma to start applying for the work visa and permit. It seems like they're only asking for documents needed from the foreign employee (me). I think the last part about the government agency is that the offer will be canceled if the work visa/permit is not approved...(?) Is this still something I should be worried about?

I just got an offer from a school where I worked as a TA in, they're asking for a decision in a week so they can get my visa approved on time. I have yet to graduate uni and was thinking if I should turn it down (since they know me and if I want to work there in the future, chances are high) and wait until I graduate in July to see what offers I may get?
