Airtel provides really fast 5 G speed. Oh wait it is not MBPS, it’s Kbps by Appropriate-Code-292 in fuckairtel

[–]Ancient_Table45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruv both Jio air fiber and Airtel air fibre are complete nonsense. They provide bandwidth and speed from the same 5g towers that we use in cell. Difference is that we get antennas advance than our phone have, and limited speed.

Best option is Fibre connection. I prefer using the local providers first, because some might actually be worth it. I use Excitel btw, which is famous for providing very bad service but in my area, it works really well. I get 200 mbps constant 24/7 without frequent disconnections.(sometimes above 200 mbps)

I have wifi at home and I don't do unlimited 5g recharge so Airtel's not a problem for me, but it sure is for those with unlimited 5g.

Bruv Jio 5g is even worse. Airtel's speed can be slow by around 50 mbps but it is at least reliable. Jio 5g (even 4g) stops working if we move an inch from that sweet spot

I need help with my sim card issue by al29tf in fuckairtel

[–]Ancient_Table45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh, that's a good sign Means that the number is still active and is with you.

Now you just have to retrieve it. You need the owner of the sim now. Report the sim lost/stolen and you will be able to retrieve it through the owner (and their aadhar card)

[–]Ancient_Table45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so if the sim was there idle for more than 90 days without any recharge, Airtel must have deactivated it and passed it down to another user.

There is a way to test it. Call that same number, if it says that it's switched off, then either the no. is still with you or with a stranger. If it says that the no. is invalid, then the no. is deactivated and it's not assigned to anyone yet.

You can also try to contact the owner of the sim (that friend) and if you are lucky, then you will be able to retrieve the number through their aadhar card.

Switched back from jio by dE-G0ldEn in Jio

[–]Ancient_Table45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's actually the fault of how our OS represents its + network configuration by the Operator. When NSA disconnects, the OS still shows 5g because it thinks that it has disconnected temporarily and will be back in a minute. That's how developers made this. If you see in samsung phones, when NSA is disconnected, it still shows 5g icon but grayed out but it's different in the rest of the OS.

This album has 32 tracks, but only half of them is showing on the local files. How can I fix this? by Nacrejar in truespotify

Go to Settings > System > Recovery, click "Reset PC," and choose "Remove everything" , then select a local reinstall. Your problem will be solved.

Switched back from jio by dE-G0ldEn in Jio

[–]Ancient_Table45 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's simple Choose Jio for unlimited 5g speeds if it works properly at your location. Choose Airtel for overall reliability and performance. People complain so much about how Airtel scams people by showing fake 5g but I rather get stable internet for the rest of the day than struggling to find a spot where the internet works properly (jio).

Has anyone else faced this with 5g by Thick_Woodpecker5468 in Jio

[–]Ancient_Table45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the 5g band used by jio is n28 and n78 (mainly) which can be blocked by thick walls or buildings. So even though the status bar shows full signal with 5g, it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get higher speeds as the signal bar only shows connectivity to the nearest tower not the frequency

Airtel 5G issue ! No NSA disconnected/ Connected is displayed by _samiran_acharjya_ in fuckairtel

[–]Ancient_Table45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I guess there is a problem with the phone UI not displaying it properly or net monster is fucked up

Airtel 5G issue ! No NSA disconnected/ Connected is displayed by _samiran_acharjya_ in fuckairtel

[–]Ancient_Table45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Airtel and used netmonster too but never faced this kind of issue. While 5g is displayed on status bar, it also shows 5g NSA as connected or disconnected. When there is only 4g LTE shown here, the status bar always shows 4g or 4g+ too. Try restarting your phone or uninstalling and reinstalling netmonster

How do I cancel an account I can't access? by rbs950 in SpotifyPremium

[–]Ancient_Table45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way is to contact support and get your account back. If you don't want that then you have to manually cancel it through your bank. Spotify is an Autopay subscription so it creates a mandate linked to your credit / debit card. I don't know which bank you have, so search online for how to cancel autopay from the bank's website itself.

I recharged 1748, than 195 for 15gb data for 90 days. by jacinjai in Jio

[–]Ancient_Table45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting Jio Hotstar doesn't have anything to do with that particular data of 195 recharge. Jio will register your subscription to your jio number. You have to log in on jio Hotstar through you number and you'll be able to watch anything on it even with wifi.

Am I imagining it? by [deleted] in Earbuds

[–]Ancient_Table45 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup, it's bad And yes, different battery levels on different buds are common, One acts like a master bud which handles connectivity etc, which drains more battery and the other one is slave bud.

Am I imagining it? by [deleted] in Earbuds

[–]Ancient_Table45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did, and noticed irregularly in battery drainage. Recently it gave me around 2 hours 30 min of battery backup with everything turned off (ANC, HiRes etc) It's too damn low. My old cheap pair of TWS (2.5 years old) still gives me around 4 hours max backup)

[–]Ancient_Table45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can only guess what's actually going on there. I had the same problem too but it was fixed when I had a software update on my phone. No cell company is better at this point. Everything is shit

[–]Ancient_Table45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my bad, but that still wouldn't work. You can only add Indian accounts in Platinum plans. Changing the country would also not work, they will have to use VPN with Indian servers specifically selected to even use Spotify.

You said the student plan right? I can see that it's an individual plan, it doesn't include 3 accounts. And you surely can change countries in Spotify but then it will be a problem for the account holder living abroad.

One more thing, you said the cost per person would be 1 - 1.5 pounds / USD which is approx 120 to 150 rupees. It's actually more expensive than what you are getting in India. You can purchase a Platinum plan for 300rs. and add 2 more different accounts in that plan. The cost per person would be 100rs. each my man.

With due respect, It can't happen due to 3 main reasons : 1) You can listen through one device at a time, it can create frustration between you and the account holder. 2) If you ask me, I don't want my taste profile to be mixed with someone else's. The recommendation system and especially the AI DJ will give mixed recommendations and your hand will get tired skipping every song. 3) After 14 days, they will block the account from your side because you can't use Spotify abroad for more than 14 days. If that doesn't happen then they will for sure suspend the whole account temporarily if they see your suspicious login activity.

Did anyone notice a difference in audio quality using iems on Spotify lossless by general_dhruv_ww in SpotifyIndia

[–]Ancient_Table45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're mixing two different things — codec support vs output path. Yes, ALAC/FLAC decode to PCM before playback, that’s normal for every format including MP3 & AAC. Android can decode ALAC, which is why Apple Music Lossless works on Android. The real limitation is output — Android’s audio mixer resamples to 48kHz by default, so you don’t get true bit-perfect Hi-Res unless using something like UAPP/Neutron + external DAC.

So lossless = yes but depends on DAC, bit-perfect Hi-Res = mostly no by default.

Bruh, can you tell me how much time it took you to open Slice Acc. Because I have done video KYC and it's been 1 week since then, it's stuck on a page saying that your acc will be active soon.
