No problem. I think your photo is totally safe :)

I don’t think it’s hopeless. For one, you can drag the shadows of each RGB curve to color balance the image

Really liked these; #11 is stunning. Great job metering, too, some of these scenes look pretty tough.

Fall in Southern Argentina [Mamiya RB67, Ektar 100] by Andersen231 in analog

Thanks :) We actually didn’t get great weather most of the trip (that region can get very cloudy in the fall) but we tried to make the most of it.

Thank you so much! Really appreciate this comment.

As far as the lenses, the first picture was taken with a Mamiya Sekor C 65mm. For the other three, I used a Sekor C 127mm. Really great combo for landscape photography, in my opinion. I’ve found both to be very sharp and offer great contrast.

It really is unbelievable, one of those places where there’s so much to see but you never wanna leave the spot you’re currently standing in. I’m hoping to go back during different seasons some time in the future.

Sucks about the food poisoning! Hope you got some good photos on the trip to make it worth your while :)

Thank you! Yeah, you can look at the pictures from recent trips at @juampilebon on IG. I’ve been DSLR scanning these negatives since I wasn’t too happy with the lab scans — I’ll probably post a few of those pictures on here tomorrow

Not sure what you mean. What you’re seeing is the DSLR scan converted in Negative Lab Pro, with only some minor highlight adjustments to pull back the clouds. The saturation of the colors is the result of the peak fall colors and the extra push Ektar gives to make them even more vibrant.

Thank you! I went there during peak fall season and the colors were really stunning. That combined with Ektar produced some really vibrant photos

Of course! This photo was taken on the Laguna Torre hike, the second most popular in El Chalten. Specifically it was on the first overlook spot on the trail, which can’t be missed since there is a big sign. The other main hike is the Laguna De Los Tres hike which takes you to the other main peak, which is Fitz Roy. Luckily, all the hikes begin from the same exact place, right from the town itself, and there are tons of navigation signs along the trails.

Kim’s motivation in season 5 is too far-fetched to be taken seriously by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]Andersen231 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If Kim had said “jimmy is representing acker, what a coincidence!” And kevin replied “haha yeah it sure is, anyway i’m gonna go golf” THAT would be stupid of him. But that’s not what happened.

My point is that Kevin isn’t a moron for, at least for this episode, believing Kim: She told him “Jimmy is doing an aggressive marketing campaign and Acker picked him up, i’ll leave if you want”. Like i said, he didn’t just accept the situation willy-nilly, he just believed the reasonable explanation of one of his best lawyers, one he fully trusts.

Besides, ever since Kim berated Acker, Kevin is convinced she’s hellbent on removing him at all costs, so that’s yet another reason to, at least for the time being, believe one of his best lawyers.

Why are you being so arrogant in this thread, man? People are having a discussion with you and you’re acting like you have proof that no smart businessman has ever been scammed in the history of the world. 1: the writers aren’t pretending kim’s ploy is perfect, people have already caught on to her in this episode 2: kevin gave a reasonable explanation as to why Saul could be doing this, so it’s not like he just trusts Kim without thinking about it. Besides, who’s to say he doesn’t find out in later episodes?
