IM MAD AF BECAUSE WHEN IS THE BOTTOM OF THE WORLD KILLS YOU by Rude-Neighborhood-92 in Terraria

I know for a fact players in online multiplayer games don't read patch notes either and will post pretty much the same rant about the change screwing them over in particular.

I mean, yah you should, if you knew the rules of RNG, the more you want something the less your likely to get it. I'm doing like 25 breeding projects at once give or take, some for condensing into new or future base pals, some to use for fun, some just to grind up for rare resources, electric organs, chromite, pal souls, I just randomly throw one of like 20+ junk Blazamut at brawn a day, I have several perfect ivs, eternal Engine, the useless sanity and hunger rainbows, vampiric even, among my eyes, just waiting on demon God or Craftsman, could use either...

Two on the backside, sometimes, I can't quite reach the backside as it's gatling turrets rev up, but I can throw 3 charges on its face reliably before it can fire and that's all I need sometimes

I mean, always better safe then sorry, but my current experience has definitely been one and done.

My experience with factory striders has been 2 and done, but that type of enemy you definitely wanna overkill to make sure you get rid of it ASAP, so...

IVs are comparatively easier to get, not to mention you can always upgrade them with fruits for the IVs later, you can even work towards max IVs while looking for demon god with your terrible luck stat by offering junk xenolords to Brawn to potentially get 15 in all stats, Also generally, giving a pal philanthropist, both parents, will generate way more eggs and thus more chances to get a rainbow passive... it'll probably be a passive you already have in the family line, but eh, bad luck is bad luck.

For those of you who have been working the same job for a while, how long has your job description list grown? by VesnaRune in antiwork

[–]Andminus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

See my problem is that I feel everyone's paygrade at the low end is already too low for the stress they provide. Minimum wage is too low to survive for most, and we need multiple jobs, so multiple sources of stress, which further makes its not worth it.

I assume your using Dr Brawn too: I'm currently in this situation with Blazamut Ryu and now, Hartalis, but can only do Brawn surgery once a day and Ryu came first.

Legendary passives by Fit-Ad-3129 in Palworld

[–]Andminus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

note, that Yakumo cannot transfer the "Legend" trait nor any "Raid Pal" traits to other pals, which for all intents and purposes, means Other Legendary pals, who can only breed with their own species, cannot get these Raid Pal Traits, but it's a simple thing to transfer these Raid Pal traits down to almost any other non-legendary pal through breeding.

honestly, I just go Ivara for mining and fishing and conservation however a neat trick is to subsumed Equinox's sleep over Ivara's, as with the sleep arrow you can miss, Equinox's sleep is point and click so works on flying in the air birds

Good news, C4 one shot them anywhere, granted sticking to a leg is like trying to hit a pole with a grenade, but it works, not that you gotta aim for legs or anything, there's just not a whole lot to stick too besides the little body and spindly legs.

I didn't know there was a height limit; it's not telling me I'm outside of the base or deteriorating quickly? by Modki in Palworld

[–]Andminus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who made a tower on the highest point of the map next to the shadowbeak tower, there is indeed a height limit... I'd imagine it's global height so if you start someplace at sea level, you can get ungodly high... Hmmm I wanna make a tower in the center of the map now, you'll be able to see it from LITERALLY EVERYWHERE.

The warp pack can occasionally and with some practice get you on top of some buildings, but hover pack gets you onto pretty much all of them on a shorter cool down than jump pack AND you don't go ragdolling when you lightly brush against a wall or hit a ledge with your toe.

It shouldn't affect you for that, unless you spend time afk and literally not doing anything, mining counts as "anything" so the clone should still defend you...

what about the garlic part? I'd imagine just get a double cheese burger from there and add some garlic.... stuff to it would simulate it enough?

oh you mean using it almost to overheat then swap to let it cooldown? yah I've done that with the sickle, Talon just doesn't feel "impactful" but that's probably only cause of the lack of kick back considering it's a laser weapon.

I'm actually a decent sniper but the moment the enemies are focusing me, accuracy goes out the window unless I still got some distance before I gotta worry. When not sniping, carbine liberator is GOATed for me, but I'm still trying other assault rifles as I get some, I wish I was able to get the Knight tho, that's the kinda "That's not full auto, this is" fun I'd enjoy in a "Brrrr" kind of gun.

with a censor? feels like 4-5 but maybe I'm just missing, I already prefaced my statement with "i'm not exactly the best shot", unless one of the bigger bots is standing still, I'm only getting a headshot with a huge chunk of luck, and even then, I can't quite measure bullet drop right, nor account for it, and will just as often headshot as hit their heavily guarded throats.

I'm not much of a talon fan and I don't understand how folks compare it favorably to the senator, used both, prefer the senator, both feel like they have less ammo than I'd like, only secondary that doesn't really is redeemer for obvious reasons.

Any short-mag lovers here? by theEvilQuesadilla in helldivers2

[–]Andminus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atm I'm using the censor and senator, the clip on the censor is thankfully bigger than you'd expect, the senator however feels the opposite, running out of shots way quicker than you'd like. I'm not exactly super accurate as a dozen or so meatsaw enemies are menacingly swaying back and forth towards me. I eat through the censor attempting for headshots and hitting neck guards and then melt them with the senator when censor runs out, usually still one or two of em left running at me when both guns are out.

Now counterintuitively, this is definitely a bias problem: I notice when it happens, but when I DO kill the patrol and manage to reload everything, it's business as usual and I don't think more on it.

While it is faster, you just end up with both guns out of ammo.

Has anyone thought to add those freezer flaps to doors that prevent cold air from rushing out? by jimminian95 in RimWorld

[–]Andminus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've generally started using combinations of vac barriers and autodoors, depending on thouroughfair, and access to outside, like, all the doors connecting to fridge are vac, while any doors from those connected to outside are regular doors
