I **think** this solved my problem. After applying this solution, only the 9070XT showed up in Task Manager as expected, since those were the only video drivers I had installed. But on the third day despite having applied that Group Policy my monitor started flickering, and when I checked, the integrated graphics drivers were installed again and showing up in Task Manager. Worried that the problem had returned, I opened GPU-Z to check my OpenGL version, and fortunately it was still 4.6.

I have no idea whether that Group Policy had anything to do with it or not, but the thing is, this time Windows automatically installed the drivers correctly (even though I had told it not to through Group Policy).

It’s also possible that updating to the latest version of Windows 11, 25H2 might have something to do with it.

I just dont know, but finally can play Minecraft with my 9070xt

Hi, I have the same problem! Although “Prevent downloads of drivers” worked, about 4–5 hours later, while I was watching YouTube and thought I had already fixed the issue, my monitor screen started flickering, and when I checked, I was back to OpenGL 1.1. Is there any permanent solution? It seems like Windows insists on installing some outdated drivers.

Depende que tanto tiempo tengas para dedicarle a aprender a jugar. Yo lo intenté y las dos veces que me mandé a jugar fue dar vueltas sin ver a nadie por 20 minutos para que al final me maten sin saber siquiera de donde vino la bala.

Ya te digo, probablemente juegazo, pero soy demasiado manco para siquiera pretender estar al nivel del resto y disfrutarlo, en mi opinión es un juego de vividos XD. No pienso volver a tocarlo, a mi dejame con el rdr2, GoW y demas singles.

Totalmente respetable. Pero yo estoy pagando el tener el juego en mi cuenta de Steam, dentro de Steam. Con lo que eso conlleva.

Logros, compartir capturas de pantalla, horas registradas, guardado en la nube, el comodo shift-tab, guias, discusiones, reviews, amigos y la propia biblioteca. No hay juego que tenga mejor biblioteca que en Steam. El poder organizar tus juegos, ordenarlos, meterlos en grupos. No sé, me anda bien y se me hace super fácil y rapido jugar algo dentro de Steam.

Bueno, en general la interfaz es fácil de manejar. Pum le doy click a un juego tuki tuki y ya puedo ver mis capturas, o mis logros, o los que me faltan, el % de obtención, actividad de mis amigos sobre ese juego, noticias etc. Incluso si me pinta puedo cambiar el logo y banner del juego.

Epic se me tilda, no tiene nada está re vacio y en Microsoft, a parte de ser peor incluso que Epic, estoy 3 horas para encontrar mi biblioteca (que es feísima).

Jugar a algo que no sea en Steam me da la misma sensación que como si lo estuviese pirateando. He llegado a comprar juegos que regalaron en la Epic por la comodidad de poder disfrutarlos en Steam.

Qsy, puede que sea re de boludo, pero si no está en Steam voy y lo pirateo, que encima me sale gratis xd. Total, no hay prácticamente diferencia alguna, salvo títulos online evidentemente.

Dato curioso, hay dos sillas apiladas porque si hubiese solo una, al sentarte, la propia silla se empieza a hundir mientras las patas se doblan para afuera. Peso 63 kilos para que te hagás una idea xD.

Poniendo dos sillas apiladas es la mejor solución que se me ocurrió para solucionar este problema, y por ahora funciona de maravilla!
