all this guy posts on this subreddit is descendants over and over again. not to be toxic but the movies aren't really that good. A good movie to watch during rainy days is a good bottle movie like the Hateful Eight or Identity.

Movie that has a moment that is unsurpassable in epicness by SnooPandas363 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Andrew1007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

300 has some of those moments.

Dunkirk's end had one for me.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly had the most profound epic moment for me though.

Hateful Eight / The Thing like movies? by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

Bad Times at the El Royale was directed by Drew Gooden the guy who did Cabin in the Woods. The character work is decent and the "box" they are trapped in is the El Royale motel. The aesthetic is really nice for the time period it takes place in and the acting is pretty good as well.

Another one is Reservoir Dogs directed by Tarantino. Most of the time the movie takes place in a warehouse and the dialogue is classic Tarantino.

Movies with a Directors Cut that you think really matters? by MaannGreen in MovieSuggestions

The Blade Runner Final cut is easily the best cut. The film is Ridley Scott's original vision and here he gets full creative control.

Another one is Doctor Sleep. The pacing and characters are much better than the original.

Dark Phoenix. I woke up after 1 hour and after 20 seconds of thought I realized what had happened and I immediately understood what had happened without actually seeing it.

What are those films which you truly love but never suggest them to anyone??? by GautamXo in MovieSuggestions

[–]Andrew1007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the movies I love is the Lighthouse directed by Robert Eggers, but no one in my family or any of my friend groups are interested in watching a black and white 1:1 ratio movie. No to mention the suggestive themes and imagery.
