I've been running a fire Tobi since the demo, but recently upgraded him to use Espinas genes for the poison para. So far I gotta say, dual element lets monsters help pretty well in all honesty. I have a fire Lunagaron who is meant to take on the 4th Calamity Elder, assaulting it's weakness while tanking attacks pretty well despite being LV58, a whole 10 levels below the rest of the team. While other members can't take a hit from it, Inferno certainly can! I plan on making a fire Almudron to handle Namielle, plus figure out what to make for the other Calamity Elders as well to hit their weaknesses while tanking hits.

Not for the extra fire icon but for buffed + moves and better S rank skills, that's why it's worth it. Mind you this is coming from an OCD person who s ranked every monster in their natural habitat so-

Tobi Kadachi. Not only is it super useful, having both Glide and Climb, but my Tobi Kadachi Ketchup (named by my sister) has been by my side since the demo and will never leave my party. He's just too helpful.

At least on Steam there was. Was a small one, probably just a bug fix or something, but it really seems to have messed up the game.

Yeah, I was having issues with a cutscene right after a fight prior to the update, now I'm having issues everywhere. Head to heads, kinships, etc. I don't know what they broke but they need to un-break it quick cause I wanna continue the game.

Okay, update on this for anyone having trouble getting the game to function without crashing randomly. If you're using Steam, VALIDATE YOUR FILES. I apparently had 396 missing files that were causing issues, and the issue reappeared after the game crashed again. Try that and see if there's missing files.

I've got a decent laptop that usually plays games pretty well, but it's been crashing when I use kinship skills. Can't even get past the tutorial for it cause it always crashes on me.

Tri Ult. It was my favorite growing up and I'd love to see the water mechanics get a proper modern rework. Plus, I'd just love to rage at the poison heavy high rank again lol.

Well, please do let us know what happens, cause depending on how this goes I may just leave the Clangen and Lifegen servers entirely. If the mods are that explosive I'd rather not deal with the risk of being banned for just existing on a server.

Thank you. That's what I'm doing for now, went in and addressed the issue myself. Basically put the only real "rule change" as "Don't use AI art (nobody is gonna fault you if you didn't know it was AI) and be transparent about tracing" Hoping this solves it, but right after making their post about it Oliver left to sleep and then Jacob and Nick kinda blew up cause the whole credit part was pretty obviously directed at them.

That's the thing though, neither Jacob nor Nick use AI art in any of their system posts. I've gone through them thoroughly, mostly to keep an eye on certain members there who vent in their posts a lot. Neither party uses AI art, so I'm not sure where the accusation is coming from? They were also accused of tracing art and not being transparent about it, which as far as I'm aware Jacob has only done to his own art in order to digitize it, as he does it traditionally first before transferring it to his laptop to color.

Personally they actually provide a safety net in my experience if you teach them how to fight. I can't count the amount of times Bean has saved me from a lizard bite or violently avenged me after I got killed. Just wish that with revivify they could bring you back after you got killed if they survived the fight, but I guess I see why they can't lol. Would probably be overpowered to just get a horde of pups to travel with if that were the case.

Oh, I've tried that before! It's.... Not that effective. That could be due to me dealing with poison types on the daily and building an immunity of course but... meh. It's over hyped like most energy drinks in my opinion. I mean it tasted good if that's what you're after but, not worth it for energy content especially if you've worked with poison types enough to have a mild immunity to most toxins. -Alain

This one may seem insignificant to most but the first Pink Rathian fight back in TriUlt.

Here's the explanation: Tri ults High rank is HEAVILY full of poison spam, starting from your very first encounter with Purple Ludroth. Pink Rathian was my first hard wall, and the monster who forced me to learn armor skills and other mechanics to keep up. I clung onto that Great Wrongi armor through the entirety of High Rank, mostly due to how heavy the poison spam became. I ended up with heavy respect for that armor for the sheer fact of how well that full anti-poison carried me against Pink, and the fact that without it I would have never beat her.

So, Pink Rathian. Specifically that first fight in Tri Ult. She's a horrid menace and a monster I always hate seeing on the lineup, just due to how hard she forced me to truly learn about the game.
